Fifteen-year-old Ioan Jones played a key role for Pontblyddyn seconds with a match-turning bowling spell in this top of the table battle.
Brymbo were flying at 87-1 aiming to get 201 for victory when Jones dismissed key pair William Roberts and George Bourne in a stint of 2-20 off nine overs.
This is the youngster’s first full season playing 2nd XI cricket and he has already taken 27 wickets.
Brymbo and Pont have the Division Three title race between them.
After Saturday’s result, the Steelmen are top on 262 points from 20 matches, while the Alder Meadow club have 244 from 18. Each team will play 22 games so there is still plenty to play for, but Pont are favourites now.

Jon Eccles (48), Lucas (37) and bowling hero Tilley (24 no) then guided Denbigh to a winning 157-5 in 32.3 overs, Chris Boden 4-30.
Lewis Jones (65) and Carwyn Thomas (62) combined to help Conwy seconds pile-up a decisive 203-4 at Bodlondeb.
Sebin Sebastion collected 2-17 for Abergele seconds, who were then sent packing for just 84, Andrew Wannop a devastating 6-33, Nick Davies 2-5.
Seven-player Pwllheli seconds were put in and bowled out for 65, Jamie Savage notching 3-8 off five overs for Bethesda seconds, who responded with 67-3 in 14.1 to win 14-1 on points.
