Last pair Nadeem Rehman and Jonny Wells made all the difference as a 10th wicket stand of 54 provided Bangor with enough runs to win a low-scoring clash.
Rehman, who has missed recent matches with a broken finger, batted as an emergency number 10 and hit 45, while Wells finished 10 not out as the hosts were all out for 97 following their decision to bat.
Bangor were in dire straits at 10-6 at one stage, but double figures from Tomos Davies and Sion Evans boosted the total before Rehman and Wells came together.
Jakeem Forde picked up 4-40, John Crane 2-11 and Richard Deniz 2-15 for the visitors.
Mold’s batting effort was even worse as they collapsed to 77 all out, despite a spirited 22 from Forde in the middle order.
Saami Welsh scooped 3-7 off nine overs, Rehman nabbed 3-19 and Owen Reilly 3-30 to seal a 20-run, 11-4 points success for the Citizens.
James Claybrook struck his fifth league century of the season for a Brymbo outfit which stay third in the table after a 12th win in 17 matches.
Opener Claybrook is now the third highest run scorer in the entire league this year and first in the Premier Division with 880 runs at an average of 62.86.
Claybrook, who made 117, put on 148 for the opening wicket with Seth Agard (52), the Steelmen having won the toss and opted to bat.
The hosts finished on 266-6 off 50 overs, Cam Evans taking 3-57 for the visitors.
Gresford were then all out for 205, skipper Matthew Thompson 53 and Daniel Williams 30, Mohamed Nilam Jayman snaring 3-32 and Connor Davies 2-28 for the home team.
Michael Williamson (46) and James Hughes (36) led the way as Pontblyddyn posted a winning total of 229-8 at The Ring.
Extras also amounted to 44 for Pont, who elected to bat, Nathan Humphreys landing 3-35 and Ethan Griffiths 2-24 for the hosts.
Despite half-tons from Tom Crewe (64) and Joe Howell (50) in reply, Llay could only manage 183 all out, Hughes 3-26, Chris Moss 2-26, Rhys Jones 2-33 and Stevel Rodney 2-46 for the visitors.
Matthew Williams snapped up a superb 5-21 as Northop sent visitors Mochdre packing for just 74 at Flint Road.
Charlie Collins also performed well with his 2-12, removing danger man Matty Humphreys clean bowled for a duck.
Wicket-keeper Richard Walker, called up for Wales NC North this week, then made batting look easy as he cracked 57 not out off just 37 balls, hitting 13 boundaries as Northop coasted to 78-1 in 13.2 overs for a 15-0 thrashing.
Captain Jason Underwood top-scored with 94 as Pwllheli edged a high-scoring encounter at Parc Bodegroes.
Syed Kaleem Aslam was next highest contributor for the hosts with 29, Jack Rimmington bagging 4-46 for the visitors.
Llandudno’s response fell 13 short of the victory target on 243-8.
Kai Page struck 57 and Elliott Hughes 49 for the away side, Christopher Taylor 2-34 and Daniel Pigott 2-37 for the hosts.
Champions Saints cut the gap to five points after inflicting a first defeat of the season on a Menai Bridge outfit which had won all of its previous 16 games.
With five matches apiece left, leaders the Bridge have 218 points and St Asaph 213.
Menai won the toss and batted, making 229 all out, Robbie Jones 80, David North 4-31 for the hosts.
Saints got home on 231-6 with four balls to spare, Nathanael Scott, who earlier took five catches behind the wickets, top-scoring with 79, Jurie Norval adding 40.
St Asaph captain Will Ryan said: “I think we did deserve it. We did well to restrict them to 229, I think 250 was par, so that was a big part of the game, then the 3 partnerships throughout the innings is what won it for us. Nat was obviously the stand out with his 70, but there were contributions all the way down.”
This match was reported on in more depth by Grassroots North Wales on Saturday evening.
