1ST XI FIRST DIVISION
Caldy (1) 75-10 Northop Hall (20) 77-3
Darren Leach returned his joint-fourth best career bowling figures of 6-47 as Northop Hall eased to victory on the Wirral.
Leach produced his impressive analysis off 14.3 overs, while Dhanosh Kaludewa, also known as Malith de Silva, scooped 4-24 as Caldy, who had won at Smithy Lane the week before, were rolled over for 75 in 30.3.
Hall then reached 77-3 in 20, Evan Withe 32 not out, for a 20-1 points verdict.
Liverpool (4) 195-8 dec Colwyn Bay (4) 15-3
This clash of the high-flyers was abandoned due to rain with the Bay having slumped to 15-3 chasing 196 for victory.
Put into bat, Liverpool crawled to 195-8 declared off 62 overs, Patrick Glover an excellent 3-16 from nine for the visitors.
Bay were 15-3 off 20 overs when the game was called to an early halt.
1ST XI SECOND DIVISION
Old Xaverians (24) 194-5 Prestatyn (4) 147-10
Opener Sheil Sethi’s half-century was not enough to save Prestatyn from defeat at St Francis Xaviers School.
The hosts set a decent 194-5, Ian Carroll 54, Kieron Tidswell 3-29 for the visitors.
Sethi made 51, Leo Teal 35 and Sampath Perera 27 as the away side were dismissed for 147, Mark Doyle grabbing 5-29 and Daniel Harrison 3-30.
2ND XI PREMIER DIVISION
Colwyn Bay (20) 212-8 dec Formby (8) 166-10
Shaun Davies (55), James Jones (41 no) and Will Sissons (37) helped the Bay post a winning score against the division leaders at Penrhyn Avenue.
Matt Russell then snared a brilliant 5-22 as Formby were dismissed for 166, opener Tom Simpson a battling 73.
The visitors were 111-0 at one stage before the home attack took over, led by Russell, whose five-for came off 12 overs, Shaun Davies 3-56 and Jamie Moorhouse 2-42.
Bay sit in second spot, right on Formby’s tails.
2ND XI FIRST DIVISION
Northop Hall (9) 154-9 Wigan (8) 167-10
Caleb Dyke snapped up 4-52, Renit Adke 3-21 and Liam Evans-Ford 2-22 as Hall bowled out Wigan for 167 at Smithy Lane.
Unfortunately for them, the Flintshire men could not quite reach the winning post, ending on 154-9 to earn a 9-8 winning draw.
Thomas Doggett struck 48 and Jack Smallwood 30 for the hosts, Anthony Whittaker 4-48 and Matt Dawson 3-42 for the Greater Manchester side.
2ND XI SECOND DIVISION
Prestatyn (25) 144-5 Sutton (5) 142-10
Steven Edwards claimed 5-35 and Navneet Kaimal 3-35 as Prestatyn seconds celebrated a great result at Beach Close.
Sutton seconds opted to bat and were bowled out for 142, then the hosts responded with a winning 144-5, Joe Horton a fine 76 opening the batting.
