Trailing by four at the end of the first quarter, Arfon recovered to take the second 11-4 and eventually win by six goals.

Llangefni 23-23 WaliB’s

A real thriller saw WaliB’s three goals ahead at half time, Llangefni turn the tables by winning the third quarter 8-4, but the Caernarfon side edged the last to force a draw.

Tim o Walis 27-26 Arfon Celts
(4-7; 10-14; 18-21; 27-26)

This was surely the match of the night.
Title hopefuls, second-place Walis, kept their hopes on the boil by producing a dramatic last quarter fightback to pip the Celts by a single goal.
Celts had led all the way – 7-4, 14-10 and then 21-18 entering the last.
However, Walis showed the determination potential champions are made of by taking the curtain-closer 9-5.

DIVISION TWO – MARCH 8

Bethesda 19-11 Clwb Pêlrwyd y Cymric
(4-3; 9-4; 14-7; 19-11)

Bethesda steadily build their lead in this one and finished up relatively comfortable winners.

Walis Bryncoch 29-23 Porthmadog
(7-4; 14-11; 22-15; 29-23)

Unbeaten Bryncoch maintained their commanding lead at the summit but were given a good battle by Porthmadog.
Leading by just three at midway, the Walis team looked to be running away with it when they took session three 8-4.
But Port produced a good late rally, winning the last 8-7, although it did not affect the final outcome.

Môniars 26-22 Walis Difas
(8-7; 13-11; 19-15; 26-22)

Always ahead, but never in the clear, Môniars claimed their fifth win of the season.
Bottom side Difas were always in the contest, especially the first half when they were just two goals behind at midway.

Pwllheli Wildcats 34-22 WaliC’s

While the WaliC’s chalked up a good goals total, they were always in arrears against the high-flying Wildcats.
