Prestatyn Town Football Club’s senior management team have all stepped down.
The club has announced the resignation of first team manager Ben Heath and assistants Tom Taylor and Ryan Turner.
Heath, who spent nine months in the first team boss role, will continue to run the under-16 side, while Turner remains in charge of the academy.
However, as things stand, the first team has no management and very few players, many having left the club.
Also relinquishing their roles are the club secretary, media officer and photographer.
Prestatyn Town are sixth from bottom of the tier 2 JD Cymru North and have an away game at Gresford Athletic scheduled for this Saturday.
The club released the following statement on social media this afternoon:
“The senior team management, club secretary, media officer and photographer have all left the club.
“Ben (Heath) will carry on with the under 16s and Ryan (Turner) will continue with his academy role.
“The club would like to thank them all and wish them the best for the future.”
A statement from the departing management team added:
“The senior management team from today stepped down from all senior duties due to many reasons and issues off the field that have affected on the field being sustainable.
“Since game week 4, issues had begun, but the management team and players could only do so much to keep the team going.
“Losing one game in the first nine seemed a miracle when looking at the off-the-field issues occurring by the day.
“Issues have occurred that are out of the management’s control and has since seen players leave the club because of this.”
