North Wales Coast League West – Bodedern hit 12 and rise to second in Premier, Caergybi score eight in Division One

Booedern romped to their biggest win of the season and edged up to second in the Premier Division after putting a dozen past Pentraeth.

Ricky Williams’ side made it 11 wins from 11 matches at the expense of a team they had beaten just 3-2 away in their first match of the 2021-22 campaign on July 7.

Tom Wood set the ball rolling in Saturday’s game played the Plas Arthur 3G in Llangefni by scoring in the ninth minute.

Asa Thomas, Sam Gregson and Marc Evans then netted in quick succession to make it 4-0 before the 20-minute mark.

Thomas struck number five – his 30th goal of the season – Dyfed Alston found his own net, then Evans made it 7-0 before the break with his 36th of the campaign.

The second half delivered five more home goals, Thomas completing another hat-trick before Casey Boylan joined the spree in the 50th minute.

Dan Owen brought up double figures, then added a second for good measure, before Ryan Lees completed the rout in the 88th minute.

David Hayes salvaged a point for visitors Llandegai with an 86th minute equaliser.

Gary Bolton had earlier given Aberffraw the lead with a 54th minute strike.

Division One

Caergybi 8 Bethesda Rovers 0

Gary-Jo (red) scored four for Caergybi

Gary-Jo Owen showed typical form with a four-goal blast as Caergybi returned to winning ways.

Dale Moffat’s side halted a run of four straight defeats by caning a Rovers outfit which had won their last two.

Dan McGinness broke the deadlock on five minutes before Owen grabbed his first after eight.

Dave Webb and Tom Scott made it 4-0 before an Owen double before the break – the first a penalty – wrapped the points up.

In the second half, Owen added his fourth and Webb bagged a second to secure a result which moved Caergybi up to seventh, but just six points off the summit.

CPD Y Fali 0 Bodorgan 5

An all-round fine dsplay from Bodorgan delivered a five-goal victory at struggling Y Fali.

Aron Davies scored first on six minutes and Keenan Latham doubled the away lead after 31.

In the second period, goals from Sam Hallas (53 minutes), Luke Winter (64) and Gareth Hughes (65) brought more cheer for the visitors.

Waunfawr 3 Llanystumdwy 3

Sion Parry hit three for Llanystumdwy

It finished level pegging in this battle of top six sides.

Sion Parry (who else) notched a hat-trick for the visitors to make it 28 goals in all competitions for the season and 25 in Division One.

Prolific Parry scored on 31, 49 and 66 minutes, putting his team 3-1 up at one stage.

Ieuan Parry netted for the Beganifs in the first half before Jac Evans (77 minutes) and Guto Llywelyn (89) both struck to grab a point.
