MENAI BRIDGE 2ND XI (8) 133-7 BUCKLEY (8) 133-9

Leaders Buckley had to settle for a tie at battling Menai Bridge seconds.
Sam Bixby made 63 and Dion Owen 46 as the Bridge set 133-7 off 40 overs after winning the toss and deciding to bat.
Louis Parry and William Norman both took 2-17 for the visitors.
Bucks looked set to lose until last-wicket pair Rhys Jones (16 not out) and skipper Parry (13 no) led them to 133-9. Opener Norman had earlier made 36.
For the home side, Doug Searle picked up 4-25 and Liam Bibby 3-29.
Buckley still lead the table by three points from Marchwiel and Wrexham with five matches apiece remaining.

MOCHDRE 2ND XI (2) 95-10 MARCHWIEL & WREXHAM (13) 165-9

The visitors closed the gap on table-toppers Buckley to three points with a 70-run triumph at Mochdre seconds.
Put into bat, Marchwiel and Wrexham chalked up 165-9 from 40 overs, Sam Shoemark 43, Owen Opie 3-33, Alex Davies 2-21 and Liam Herbert 2-28 for the hosts.
In reply, Mochdre were bowled out for just 95, Jason Wharam 3-10, Josh Williams 3-18 and Sion Edwards 3-24.

GRESFORD 2ND XI (12) 140-5 ST ASAPH 2ND XI (3) 110-10

Skipper Craig Morse hit a vital 54 as Gresford seconds posted 140-5 off a reduced 35 overs.
St Asaph seconds were dismissed for 110, Toby Bellis 3-12 and Mikk Pold 3-18.

NORTHOP 2ND XI (14) 189-6 CARMEL & DISTRICT (1) 92-10

Scott Oates (52), Robert Alderson (45) and Josh Griffiths (30) were the mainstays as Northop seconds made a formidable 189-6, Lee Rowles snapping up 3-42 for the visitors.
Carmel were then bowled out for 92, Joe Griffiths 3-10 off six.

DENBIGH 2ND XI (10) MOLD 2ND XI (-15)

Mold seconds conceded.

LLAY WELFARE 2ND XI (-15) BERSHAM (10)

Llay conceded.

DIVISION THREE

CLWB CRICED CAERNARFON (15) 50-1 CONNAH’S QUAY 2ND XI (0) 46-10

Monis Altaf claimed a stunning 7-26 as Caernarfon stayed on the title trail after thrashing Connah’s Quay seconds by nine wickets.
Put in by the hosts, the Quay were toppled over for just 46 in 15.2 overs, Andy Tilley an admirable 20, Rhodri Owen (2-6) providing good back-up for Altaf.
Caernarfon breezed to 50-1 and closed the gap on leaders Pontblyddyn seconds to four points with a game in hand.

PONTBLYDDYN 2ND XI (12) 140-6 GWERSYLLT PARK 2ND XI (3) 139-10

A crucial 51 from Sion Thomas helped leaders Pontblyddyn seconds to an important victory over Gwersyllt Park seconds.
The visitors were all back in the pavilion for 139, Alfie Lythgoe heading the chart with 40, while for the hosts Fraser Keay scooped 4-31 and Daz Wilcock 3-27.
Pont hit back with 140-6, Thomas’ half-ton supported by captain Nick Thomas (29) and David Brilley (23 no), Ben Griffiths 3-27 for Gwersyllt. Points: 12-3.

BUCKLEY 2ND XI (14) 77-2 ABERGELE 2ND XI (1) 76-10

Mike Wooton pocketed a magnificent 7-20 as Buckley seconds eased to victory over Abergele seconds at Lane End.
Oliver Fellows also took 2-1 from five as Gele were blown away for 76 after being asked to take first knock, Martin Brown carrying his bat for 21 not out.
Bucks reached 77-2 in 14.2, Gary Mayers 29 no.

HAWARDEN PARK 2ND XI (13) 138-4 CLWB CRICED CONWY (2) 137-6

Haseeb Hanif Bikya struck an unbeaten half-century in Hawarden seconds’ success over Conwy seconds.
Toby Watson made 56 for a visiting side that set 137-6, Nicholas Woods 3-18 for the hosts.
Bikya then dominated with 55 not out as Hawarden made it to 138-4, sealing a 13-2 points verdict.

CORWEN (-15) PWLLHELI 2ND XI (10)

Corwen conceded.

DIVISION FOUR

MARCHWIEL & WREXHAM 2ND XI (3) 79-10 MYNYDD ISA & MAESHAFN (12) 125-10

With a 32-point lead at the summit and just four rounds of matches remaining, Mynydd Isa and Maeshafn look likely to be crowned the first North Wales League champions of the 2021 season.
Sanath Shetty led the way with 35 as MI & M were bowled out for 125 at Marchwiel Hall, Jeremy Wilks 4-19, Paul Baines 2-18 and Oliver Heard-Edwards 2-24 for the hosts.
Five separate bowlers all took two wickets as the home side were all out for 79 – Peter Ford 2-5, Matt Lloyd 2-6, Prasad Jadhav 2-15, Leighton Johnson 2-19 and Jonathan Fagan 2-30.

HALKYN 2ND XI (3) 24-3 DOLGELLAU 2ND XI (12) 112-10

LLANRWST 2ND XI (15) 208-10 LLANDUDNO 2ND XI (0) 93-10

Scott Thomas had a magical day with bat and ball as Llanrwst whitewashed Llandudno at Gwydir Park.
Winning the toss and electing to bat, the Roosters amassed 208 all out from 39.1 overs, Alwyn Williams leading the charge with 55, Scott Thomas 49, Dewi Parry 32 and skipper Matty Lloyd 31.
For the visitors, Casey Bedford snared 3-41, Charlie Russell 3-55 and Luke Regan an economical 2-15 from nine.
Thomas then bagged 5-20 and Robert Parry 2-26 as Tudno were blasted out for 93.

RHEWL (4) 99-10 BETHESDA 2ND XI (11) 101-8

A cracking game at Bersham Cricket Club saw visitors Bethesda seconds scrape home by two wickets.
Rhewl were all out for 99, Dylan Hughes 4-31 for Pesda, and the visitors made it to 101-8, Jez Shea a priceless 52 not out with no-one else able to reach double figures.
Iwan Lloyd took 3-21 for Rhewl.

RUTHIN 2ND XI (13) 147-6 HAWARDEN PARK 3RD XI (2) 92-10

Skipper Jamie Hughes led the way with 43 not out as Ruthin seconds defeated their visitors by 55 runs.
The hosts set 147-6, then sent Hawarden thirds packing for 92, Kenneth Evans 32. Richard Henderson took 3-16, Jonny Clayton 3-32 and Gareth Beach 2-12 from nine for the winners.
