Menai Bridge Tigers trail leaders Trearddur Bay Bulls by just two points following a 6-0 thrashing of Gwynedd League bottom side Llannerchymedd on Saturday.
Despite being depleted numbers-wise, the Bridge still triumphed comfortably thanks to doubles from Kelvin Frazer and Dave Baston, with Callum Davidson and Kev Roberts also on the mark.
Menai have played a game more than table-toppers Trearddur Bay, who have 24 points from nine games. Bridge are on 22 from 10 and Bangor 1876 lie third with the maximum 18 from six starts.
Llangoed edged a 3-2 decision at Glantraeth, Wayne Thomas (2) and Llion Roberts for the visitors, Josh Norman and Morgan Rowlands replying.
