Katie Bowe scored seven goals as Mountain Rangers romped to a 14-1 victory over Holywell FC Girls and Ladies in Division Two of the North Wales Women’s League.
Former Llandudno and Caernarfon Town star Bowe scored four in the first half and added three more after the break.
Lisa Thomas (3), Elena Julio (2, 1 pen), Sara Williams and Siwan Williams netted the rest for Rangers, but arguably the most popular goal of the day was Holywell’s first ever as a team, Ruby McGilloway with a 25-yard screamer after beating four defenders.
Caernarfon Town 1 NFA 7
Emily Jones grabbed a hat-trick for a visiting NFA side which celebrated their first league win.
Jones struck on 28, 43 and 54 minutes, while Rachel Lloyd added a double after 27 and 72, while Amy Webster also scored twice on 38 and 68. Lisa Jones bagged a consolation for the Cofis.
Pwllheli 3 Amlwch Town 8
For the second week running, Ffion Owen and Lexi Crawley scored three apiece for an impressive Amlwch outfit.
Ceri Slaney added a double for the visitors, who have won their opening two matches 9-0 and now 8-3.
Pwllheli never gave in and hit back through Stacey Sansome (2) and Lois Thomas.
Denbigh Town 1 Llanfair United 3
Despite a fine team performance from the home side, reigning joint-champions Llanfair proved a little good for their hosts.
Ffion Barnett, Sophie Cook and captain Mary Bailey were on target for the Powys visitors, Emma Roden replying for the home team.
Airbus UK 2 Rhyl 3
Visitors Rhyl recovered from two goals down to claim all three points at Airbus.
A fine 18-yard finish from Annest Jones and a Becky Lees free kick from distance put the Wingmakers in seeming command, but the away side showed great character to pinch the spoils thanks to Natalie Harrison (2, 1 pen) and Ceri Purvis.
