FAW Trophy R3 draw: Trip to Llanrwst for Bangor 1876, while giant-killers Lex and Menai Bridge meet each other

Two teams which caused big upsets in the FAW Trophy second round have been paired together at the next stage.
In this afternoon’s draw, Lex, who won away at holders Cefn Albion last Friday, landed a home tie against Menai Bridge Tigers, conquerors of Mynydd Llandegai from two levels above.
Bangor 1876 will continue their ongoing adventures of meeting new opponents with a visit to Welsh Alliance Division One club Llanrwst United, semi-finalists in the Trophy in 2011/12.
Brymbo versus Holywell Town, both winners of the competition in recent years, is a real crunch tie between two teams expected to challenge for the Welsh National League Premier Division title.
One of the ties of the round could be Denbigh Town v FC Queen’s Park, two of the biggest guns in the Welsh Alliance and Welsh National leagues respectively.
All ties will take place on October 26.
