Yet another striker hits the 50-goals mark for their club

Mike Chapman has reached 50 goals for Llysfaen FC

It has been quite a spell for players reaching 50-goal landmarks for their teams.

Another new member of the half-century club is Llysfaen net-machine Mike Chapman.

The 37-year-old front man has hit the 50 goals milestone for the North Wales Coast East Division One club in just 29 appearances. He has notched 49 goals for the first team and one for the Development side.

Chapman’s 50th club goal came in last Saturday’s 5-0 victory over Rhyl Athletic.

The striker joined Llysfaen from fellow Division One club Crozzy in January.

Chapman has been a prolific marksman for several clubs over the years, including Rhos United, Llandudno Amateurs, CPD Gronant, Bow, Llanfairfechan Town and Llanelwy Athletic.

Back in 2014-15, he hit 37 goals for Llandudno Albion, including eight in a 17-1 thrashing of Llandudno Athletic.

Chapman is currently this season’s top-scorer in the whole of North Wales football with 25.
