Tier 4 CPD Boded have signed two young talents from nearby Trearddur Bay.
Jake Davies and James Leatherbarrow have joined the North Wales Coast West Premier Division club.
Davies, 20, is a commanding centre-half who spent many years rising through the junior ranks at Trearddur Bay before making his first team debut in 2022-23.
He featured in 31 matches for the firsts and turned out for the Development side 46 times before switching to Cemaes Bay in October 2025.
Davies played in 10 games for Cemaes before returning to Trearddur in March 2026. He went on to play 14 more times for the firsts and on three occasions for the Development, making it 94 senior club appearances in all before signing for Boded.
The new recruit is strong defensively, dominant in the air and comfortable on the ball. His composure in possession will be a valuable asset as Boded continue to build from the back.
Leatherbarrow, also 20, is an explosive attacking player with pace to burn and a real eye for goal. As well as being a constant threat going forward, he also works tirelessly for the team and contributes defensively when needed.
Despite his youth, he already brings valuable experience of playing at a higher level. His quality and experience will be a huge boost to the already strong squad at Cae Ty Cristion.
Like Davies, Leatherbarrow emerged through the junior system at Trearddur Bay and went on to feature regularly for the first and Development sides at senior level.
He scored on his first team debut in a 6-0 thrashing of CPD Mountain Rangers in 2022-23 in North Wales Coast West Division One.
With 49 appearances and 14 goals under his belt between the first and Development teams, he has so much to offer.
