Busy few weeks on transfer market for Conwy Borough

It has been a busy month on the transfer market for Conwy Borough since new manager Ronnie Green took the helm.
Tom Croston from Llanfairfechan Town and attacking player Zakaria Iajouri are the latest new arrivals at the Tier 4 North Wales Coast East Premier Division club.
Croston, 29, is an experienced player who spent several seasons at Llanfairfechan, making more than 100 appearances for the club since 2021-22.
His twin, Elliot, and younger brother Harry are still at Llanfair, where dad Andrew is a former manager.

Iajouri joins Boro from South Liverpool of the North West Counties League.
A statement from his new club said: “Zakaria adds further depth and quality to our attacking options as we continue to consolidate the squad for the remainder of the season ahead.
“Having already made his debut against Llanfairfechan at the weekend, we look forward to seeing Zakaria settle in and make his mark at Y Morfa.”
Since becoming manager at the end of September, Green has also brought in:
Harry Wade: Based in Glan Conwy, Wade previously played in Devon for Babbacombe Corinthians and made his Conwy debut in the recent FAW Amateur Trophy tie against Llysfaen.
James Trevis: Scored the winner in Saturday’s 4-3 NWCFA Intermediate Challenge Cup victory over Llanfairfechan. Lands at Conwy from Broadheath Central, who play in the Cheshire Football League Premier Division, and also brings experience from playing both in the UK and overseas.
Alex-Romio Kenamuinjo: Namibian forward, formerly with CPD Y Rhyl 1879, who joined Boro in late September and scored on debut in a 2-1 triumph over Cerrigydrudion.
Jack Williams: Hard-working centre forward with a proven eye for goal. Williams is a familiar face at Y Morfa and brings plenty of experience, energy and attacking threat to the squad. He found the net in the Intermediate Cup win over Llanfairfechan. Previously at Conwy from 2022-23 to 2024-25, scoring seven goals in 32 games. Before that was a prolific marksman at Llandudno Junction.
Manager Green has won three, drawn one and lost one in his five-match reign to date as well as having led the Tangerines into the NWCFA Intermediate Cup semis.and last 32 of the FAW Amateur Trophy.
