Bute Energy Women’s Welsh Cup: Tier 3 northern ‘minnows’ paired together
Tier 3 sides NFA and CPD Pwllheli have drawn each other in the next round of the Bute Energy Women’s Welsh Cup.
Both the Rhyl-based hosts, and the Llŷn Peninsula visitors, compete in the North Wales Coast Women’s League.
Elsewhere in tonight’s northern draw, Flint Town United, 11-0 winners over Airbus in yesterday’s second qualifying round, will take on exciting newcomers Guilsfield of the Central Wales League, who beat Caernarfon Town 5-1 in QR2.
And it will be a Clash of the Giants when Wrexham Foresters host Ardal North champions Connah’s Quay Nomads.
Nomads have already beaten Foresters 5-1 away in the Genero Adran Trophy this season, but in a league return match at Connah’s Quay, the game finished 0-0.
The eight Adran Premier clubs will enter the competition in the second round, which will comprise the last 16.
