Lock Stock Ardal North West: Wins for Llangefni Town, Llannefydd and Llay Welfare

LOCK STOCK ARDAL NORTH WEST REPORTS – SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3
Llangefni Town 2 CPD Y Felinheli 0

Two early goals a couple of minutes apart proved enough for Llangefni to clinch the win that moved them up to sixth in Ardal North West.
Dion Jones struck first in the 10th minute with his fourth goal of the season, Sammy Bzeu providing the assist.
With 12 on the clock the in-form Ifan Mansoor knocked in his 10th goal of the campaign, goalkeeper Oliver Rhys Jones this time the supplier.
Visitors Felinheli have been in fine fettle of late, entering Saturday’s contest on a seven-game unbeaten streak.
And the Cae Seilo side put up a real battle in the second half, but Cefni dug deep and showed great spirit in grinding out the win.
Llangefni have now won four on the bounce and are beginning to settle after an up-and-down start to the campaign.
Bethesda Athletic 1 CPD Llannefydd 6
Mathew Jones plundered a hat-trick as third-place Llannefydd dished out a heavy defeat to the bottom side.
A double from Mathew Jones and a single via new signing Sam Jones gave the visitors a three-goal interval lead.
Pesda’s cause was not helped by a 32nd minute red card for Cody Williams.
Eight minutes into the second period, Athletic gave themselves a bit of hope when a great goal from Kyle Hartleb pulled one back, but Elgan Roberts made it 4-1 before the hosts suffered a second dismissal for a double yellow card with 56 on the clock.
Jones completed his treble before sub Tomos Salisbury added a sixth in stoppage time.
Llanrwst United 2 Llay Welfare 3
Substitute Sam Bryan’s 97th minute decider earned Llay Welfare a crucial victory which came on the back of four successive league defeats.
It was fifth straight league loss for Llanrwst.
Taylor Edwards and Jonny Taylor found the net for Welly in the first half, Macsen Rhys-Williams replying for the Rwsters.
Sub Alex Raloka, a great 17-year-old prospect, looked to have earned the Conwy Valley men a point when he netted an 85th minute equaliser, but young talent Bryan delivered that all-important clincher.
