NWCFA Development League: Four-goal Freddie takes the Junction joint top, Amateurs win debut game

EAST DIVISION
Denbigh Town Development 1 Llandudno Junction Development 6
Freddie Naylor was a four-goal star for a Junction side which moved level on points with leaders Prestatyn Town Development.
The Railwaymen only trail Prestatyn on goal difference but have game in hand on the Seasiders.
Seventeen-year-old Naylor scored four times for the second game in succession for the Development team, having also netted on his last two outings for the firsts.
Harri Evans-Burton, 17, and even younger 16-year-old Osian Jones also found the net at Myddleton College, Robin Owen with a consolation for Denbigh.
St Asaph Development 7 Meliden Development 2
Macauley Lewis made it 11 goals in four matches for St Asaph with a quadruple strike in Sunday’s thrashing of Meliden.
Harrison Northall added a double and Evan Espley a single, Richard Hill and Jayden Fallon for the Miners.

Ifan Evans (3) and Josh Evans booked the points for Llanrug, Leo Morris and captain Jac Giles replying for Trearddur Bay.

Due to a dispute with the league over which division they should compete in, Llandudno Amateurs Development played their first match of the season in the cup.
And it was a winning occasion for the visitors, Charlie Martins, Ryan Boddis and Kai McDonald-Hughes sharing the goals at Treborth, Lucas Cruz responding from the penalty spot.

Osian Davies, Jac Lewis, Llion Griffiths and a Iwan Jones penalty secured Nantlle’s passage to the next round, Dyfed Alston netting from the spot for the hosts.
Prestatyn Sports Development 2 CPD Henllan Development 2 (Henllan won 3-0 on penalties)
Penalties were needed to settle this close-fought contest at The Meadows.
Deio Jones scored twice for Henllan, while Finley Lloyd and Owen Hughes-Fowell replied to ensure it went to spot-kicks.
Eben Morris, George Pierce and Deio Jones all converted their pens for Henllan, while Rory Wynne Jones saved the first effort from Sports, who then missed their next two to ensure the away side advanced.

Gethin Jones (3), Guto Hughes, Iwan Bohana, Meilyr Povey (pen) and Aron Humphreys combined to total up Celts’ seven goals, Sion Williams (2) and Tom Cai Rees Jones hitting back for Gaerwen.
