Five new signings announced by CPDM Y Felinheli

Five new signings have been announced by CPDM Y Felinheli on the eve of the 2026-27 season.
Aaron Jones-Evans’ side will kick off their campaign with a visit to new team Prestatyn Sports on Sunday in the NWCFA Women’s Challenge Cup.
Joining Felin ahead of that encounter are:
- Hana Williams – joins from Corwen
- Seren Ellis – signs from CPDM Llanystymdwy.
- Angharad Jones – lands from Llandudno
- Cara Aston – switches from Llangefni Town
- Megan Povey commits to Felin from Airbus UK Broughton
Angharad Jones

Her skills developed with Porthmadog Under-14s and U16s before shining for Caernarfon Town U16s and U17s.
Made her senior debut for Llandudno at the start of 2024.25.
Has appeared in 45 matches for the Seasiders, scoring eight goals, also performing impressively with Tudno’s Under-17s.
Felinheli manager Aaron Jones-Evans said: “A player the club has long admired since she broke through for Llandudno. Angharad has a great work ethic and is undeniably talented on the pitch. More importantly Angharad is exactly the sort of player the club wants. She is humble, hard-working, and has a great attitude, both on and off the pitch. Her work ethic and character make her a fantastic fit for the club and we are looking forward to giving her the platform to excel within the squad to reach her personal and team goals”.
Hana Williams/Megan Povey

Aaron Jones-Evans: “Hana joins us from Corwen U17s and has already shown more than enough ability to compete within the squad and comfortably hold her own in Tier 2 football.
“The same can be said for Megan, who joins us from Airbus U17s. She has impressed throughout training and pre-season, showing plenty of promise and putting herself in a strong position heading into the season.
“With the right experience, support and guidance around them, both Hana and Megan have all the qualities to become valuable members of the squad for many years to come.”
Seren Ellis

Returns to Felinheli after spending the past season-and-a-half with CPDM Llanystumdwy.
Made 28 appearances for Llan, scoring eight goals.
Impressed with Caernarfon Town Under-14s, U16 and U17s before making her debut for Felinheli in a 3-2 Adran Trophy defeat at Llanfair United in September 2024, going on to make a handful of appearances.
Aaron Jones-Evans: “We know Seren very well, having had her with us during the 2024/25 season. Since spending the past year away, she has developed significantly and gained some really valuable game time and experience. Seren returns with a point to prove, and I’m sure she will work incredibly hard to establish herself and solidify her place in the first team. She is once again a fantastic fit for the club, and we are delighted that she has chosen to return home.”
Cara Aston

Experienced defender who was part of the Bethesda Athletic side which won the North Wales League Division Two title in their only season – 2018-19.
Also formerly with Llangefni Town, where she was part of the 2025-26 North Wales Coast League title-winning squad, Llanberis and CPDM Bangor, for whom she made 31 appearances.
Aaron Jones-Evans: “A vastly experienced player with a strong background across both Tier 3 and Tier 2 football. Having Cara involved within the squad is invaluable, particularly for the younger players, as her experience, knowledge and understanding of the game will provide a fantastic source of guidance and support. Just as important, Cara’s character fits perfectly with the player profile we look for at the club. Her experience and professionalism will be a real asset throughout the upcoming season, and we are delighted with how seamlessly she has settled into the squad. We are excited to see the impact she can make both on and off the pitch.”
