BRICKFIELD RANGERS
Carl Jones (from CPD Dinas Bangor City 1876)
Treble winner with Bangor last season and one of the best shot-stoppers in North Wales.
Double silver medallist with Ynys Môn at the International Island Games, making crucial penalty saves along the way.
Other former clubs include Holyhead Hotspur, Bodedern Athletic, Trearddur Bay, Prestatyn Town. Always stood out at a high level.
Rob Evans
A true marquee signing from Bricky.
Midfielder at Wrexham between 2012-17, making 156 appearances and scoring seven goals before moving on to Billericay Town, Warrington Town, Curzon Ashton, Alfreton Town and AFC Telford United in the England pyramid.
Had been at Newtown since 2023 before joining Brickfield. Wales U17 and U19 cap.
This signing underlines Rangers’ ambitions and desire to compete at the highest level.

Back at the club after a year away from football.
Part of Brickfield 2024-25 Ardal North East championship‑winning side.
Former Mold Alex, St Asaph, Penycae and Corwen. Brings calmness, quality and experience into the midfield.

MOCHDRE SPORTS
Adam Hold (from Penmaenmawr)
A massive statement signing from Mochdre as they bring in a winger who has experienced success at some top quality clubs.
Llandudno Albion, CPD Y Rhyl 1879, Conwy Borough, Prestatyn Town are on his impressive list of former sides, while in 2024-25 he won a mighty treble with Penmaenmawr Phoenix of North Wales Coast East Premier Division title (undefeated), NWCFA Intermediate Challenge Cup and Cookson Cup, scoring 34 goals in the campaign.
Lee Stokes (from Llandudno)
Another class addition to Jason Williams’ squad.
A highly skilful and talented winger, Stokes has spent the last couple of seasons at 2025-26 Cymru North champions Llandudno and is looking forward to getting back to playing regularly and contributing to what everyone at the club hopes will be another successful campaign for Sports.
Previous clubs include Llandudno Athletic, Llandudno Albion and Penmaenmawr Phoenix – he was a stand out figure for all.
Harry Dodwell (from Llandudno)
This one happened less recently than the others but is well worth highlighting.
Proved to be a tremendous prospect over the past two seasons at Llandudno, gaining some first team experience and also excelling for the under-18 and reserve sides.
Mochdre are very excited about getting this young man with a great personality and winning mentality on board.
MENAI BRIDGE TIGERS
Danny Brookwell (from Porthmadog)
The hero of many a fine season at Tier 1, 2 and 3 levels now returns to where it all began in Tier 4 with ambitious Menai Bridge.
Brookwell played junior football for the Tigers and made his senior debut in amber and black before embarking on a career which has seen him play in the Cymru Premier and earn international honours with Cymru C.
Former clubs include Cymru Premier Caernarfon Town, Porthmadog, where he netted 39 goals in 92 appearances and won promotion to Tier 2 and a Tier 3 league cup before his recent departure, as well as Llandudno, Llangoed and District, Llanfairpwll and Glantraeth
Mel McGinness (from Holyhead Hotspur)
One of the finest players to kick a ball on Ynys Môn.
Last season his experience helped Holyhead Hotspur Development win a debut season treble, but he is a Hotspur legend at all levels, having scored a career-best 50 goals for the club in 2011-12.
Scored the winning goal which clinched the Inter-Games gold medal for Ynys Môn in 2019.
Other former clubs include Bangor City, Llangefni Town, Gaerwen, Porthmadog, Trearddur Bay and Holyhead Town. Trophies, medals and goals galore for this 35-year-old.
ASTON PARK RANGERS
Jay-Jay Bell
Having played for Aston Park Rangers as a youngster, prolific shot stopper Bell returns to his boyhood club having represented Wrexham AFC, Connah’s Quay Nomads and Hawarden Rangers, while last season he had a spell with AFC Deeside.
Shay Davies
This 27-year-old puts pen to paper for APR for the upcoming campaign having signed from CPD Sychdyn. Shay’s CV speaks for itself having previously played at Connah’s Quay Town, Saltney and Mynydd Isa.
Good scoring record at Sychdyn over the past two seasons, bagging 15 goals in 50 appearances.
Liam Ellis
The commanding midfielder has impressed in pre-season for his new club Aston Park Rangers.
Charlie Jones
Another player to make the short-distance transfer from neighbours Connah’s Quay Town. The 18 year old defender joins APR having impressed in opening pre-season games having had previous stints with Connah’s Quay Nomads, Rhydymwyn, Broughton and FC Nomads.
Sam Williams
Puts pen to paper after impressing in his debut pre-season friendly against Bontnewydd and picking up man of the match.
Rhys Chester
18 year old joins APR’s senior set-up following previous stints at Aston, Hawarden Rangers and Mynydd Isa
PENYCAE
Luca Beck (from Bala Town)
Eighteen-year old winger lands at The Riverside from Bala Town where he signed a professional contract at just 16 years old.
Prior to joining Bala, he previously represented Wrexham AFC in the youth system.
Luca also plays Futsal where he has represented PF Cymru in the UEFA Champions League.
Penycae manager Dan Richards: “Luca is a young, hungry player with a fantastic attitude who expressed a desire to join Penycae. He will bring something different to the team and will no doubt flourish in the great group we already have.”
Lewis Dutton (from Gresford Athletic)
Penycae have boosted their squad with the signing of 25 year old goalkeeper Lewis Dutton from Gresford Athletic.
Prior to Gresford, Dutton represented both Airbus and TNS within the Welsh pyramid.
Penycae manager Dan Richards: “Firstly, a huge thank you to Lewis for agreeing to join Penycae, he was initially taking a year out to concentrate on other commitments outside of football, hence turning down many fantastic offers elsewhere.
“With current first team goalkeeper Ben not available every week due to work commitments we needed extra cover which Lewis has willingly agreed to do to ensure we can have a successful season.
“Secondly, along with being a fantastic goalkeeper Lewis will bring great knowledge, experience and of course leadership to the group. ”
Dutton joined Cymru North Gresford in January 2024 and made 86 appearances up to the end of last season.
Made 28 appearances for Airbus UK Broughton in the Cymru Premier in 2022-23, also representing the club in Cymru North
Ryan Lancelotte (Brickfield Rangers to Penycae)
Lancelotte 25, is a box to box midfielder who has transferred from Brickfield Rangers, where he was part of their 2024-25 Ardal North East title-winning campaign.
Dan Richards: “Great to box off our final couple of additions, Ryan has been with us from our first session and impressed all the management team with his quality and enthusiasm. Ryan will also add great options to the squad with his versatility.”
Evan Davies (from Rhos Aelwyd)
Defender Evan Davies arrives at Afoneitha Road from Rhos Aelwyd.
The 24-year-old returns to The Riverside after previously representing the club during the 2022/23 campaign. Predominantly a full back, but can also operate in higher areas of the pitch.
Dan Richards: “Brilliant to have Derm back with us. Since working with him a few seasons ago, he has gained invaluable experience playing consistently at the level. He has really impressed us right through pre-season with his individual quality and fitness levels so it was a no-brainer to welcome him back to the club.”
CPD BODED
Ben Hoyland (from Amlwch Town)
Ended last season with Amlwch Town where he scored successive hat-tricks in his final two games.
Spent the majority of the 2025-26 season at Cemaes Bay, where he emerged through the youth sides.
This 18-year-old is clearly a great prospect and a fine capture for Tier 4 outfit Boded.
A CPD Boded statement said: “Ben is an attacking player who has bags of pace, loves running at defenders taking them on on one on one situations, puts a cracking ball in the box from wide areas and he knows exactly where the goal is as his record shows.
“Ben adds a great attacking option in to the squad and will be a huge boost to the squad for the upcoming season.”
Myles Jones (from Holyhead Town)
Midfielder who has represented numerous Anglesey clubs including Holyhead Town, Caergybi, Gwalchmai, Trearddur Bay, Holyhead Hotspur and Bodedern Athletic.
CPD Boded: “Myles is another player we’ve been keen to bring in for a few years now, and everyone at the club is thrilled he’s agreed to join us for the upcoming season.
“A composed midfielder who dictates the tempo, Myles gets on the ball early and moves it forward quickly to spark attacks from the middle of the park. He can switch play with accuracy, pick out wide areas with ease, and strike from the edge of the box — a real all‑round threat in possession.”
Shane Owen (from CPD Llannerchymedd)
Talented young keeper with past experience at Caernarfon Town and Bangor City now joins Tier 4 Boded having played at Llannerchymedd last season.
CPD Boded: “The club has been eager to bring Shane in for a couple of years now, ever since his man‑of‑the‑match performance against us for Llanerchymedd, and we’re made up to finally get our man.
“Despite being a young goalkeeper, Shane arrives with vast experience, having represented clubs such as Caernarfon Town and Bangor City over the years. He’s a brilliant shot‑stopper, commands his box with confidence, and is excellent with his feet — able to start attacks by playing out from the back.”
