Long-serving Felinheli defender makes move to Adran Premier club

Llio Henshaw’s move from CPDM Y Felinheli to Adran Premier club Aberystwyth Town reflects very favourably on the talent performing in the north.
The 23-year-old, who has spent her entire senior career at Felin, and their earlier guise of Bethel, has been signed by Aber for the 2026-27 season.
Henshaw, a central defender of outstanding consistency, made more than 100 appearances for Felin since breaking into the first team in 2018-19.
Her talents first developed playing for Penrhyndeudraeth Juniors.
In her debut senior season, Bethel were joint-winners of the North Wales Women’s League with Llanfair United.
She has played a major role in Felinheli’s subsequent successes in recent seasons, including lifting the North Wales Coast Challenge Cup twice and North East Wales Challenge Cup and achieving good finishing positions in Tier 2 Adran North.
Henshaw played against Aber in last season’s 7-0 Genero Adran Trophy defeat at Park Avenue.
Felinheli manager Aaron Jones-Evans said: “Of course it’s a massive blow for us, but we can’t stop players from having opportunities.
“It is very sad for us as a club to lose her, but we wish her all the best and rest assured she will always be welcomed back here at Felinheli.”
