North Wales pair join English pyramid and target an amazing joint four-timer!

North Wales’ loss is the English pyramid’s gain.
Former Connah’s Quay Nomads double title-winning duo Polly Wild-McGregor and Elana Harley have both joined Chester FC Women of the North West Women’s Regional Football League Division One South.
The pair will compete in Tier 6 of the English women’s pyramid in 2026-27.
Chester finished runners-up last season and instead of facing Llanfair United, Flint Town United and Llandudno this season, McGregor and Harley will be up against the likes of Wirral Phoenix, Altrincham and Manchester Laces.
Both will also be aiming to maintain a remarkable run of championship–winning successes.

A North Wales football spokesperson said: “History is on the line this season! Elana and Polly have joined Chester Women FC with one huge goal: to claim an unprecedented 4th consecutive league title — and what makes this even more extraordinary? If they succeed, they will have landed this incredible run of success across three different clubs!
“That is a truly remarkable milestone and one that speaks volumes about their consistency, talent and winning mentality.“
