Brilliant signing for Mountain Rangers – goalkeeper supreme Mr Dylan Roberts

Dylan Roberts (CPD Llanberis to CPD Mountain Rangers)

One of the very best goalkeepers in tiers 3-5 has a new club for 2026-27.
Dylan Roberts has deparued T4 Llanberis and joined ambitious T5 Mountain Rangers, the latest winners of the NWCFA Junior Cup.
The 34-year-old keeper has had a great career, also playing for the likes of Porthmadog and Llanrug United.
Made 21 appearances for Port – then in the Ardal North West – before joining Llanberis in January 2022.
Has made 105 appearances in three spells with the Darans since, and famously delivered the winning goal in the 2024-25 Cwpan Snowdonia Final, netting from his own penalty box in the 95th minute.
Also played in a few games for CPD Y Felinheli at the start of 2025-26.
Tremendous shot-stopper, can be relied upon to do a great job wherever he goes.

Gwion Dafydd (Denbigh Town to Porthmadog)

One word – goals!
This 21-year-old forward looks tailor-made for success at Tier 2 newcomers Porthmadog having gathered extensive high-level playing experience with other clubs.
Started off with Caernarfon Town Under-16 and Development sides, scoring hat-tricks in three of his first four matches for the latter where he went on to amass 43 goals in 22 appearances including 11 in a single game!
Along the way also gained game time for Caernarfon’s first team, scoring in a 5-3 loss at The New Saints, who realised his potential aid signed him up at the start of 2023-24.
Bagged five in his first two outings for The New Saints Development and overall notched 40 goals in 21 matches, earning himself opportunities with the firsts and reserves, before Caernarfon Town re-signed him in January 2024.
During that 2023-24 campaign, Dafydd also plundered a first team hat-trick for Saints in a 7-0 Welsh Cup drubbing of Trethomas Bluebirds.
Moved to Colwyn Bay at the beginning of 2024-25 and hit 16 goals in 23 games for the Cymru North side before The New Saints brought him back and he continued to find the net consistencly for the Development and Reserves.
Spent the full 2025-26 campaign at Cymru North Denbigh Town, pocketing seven goals in 23 matches.

Clive Williams (Trearddur Bay to Llangefni Town)

Former Bangor City and Caernarfon Town defender who also had spells with Nantlle Vale and Bontnewydd before spending the back end of last season at Trearddur Bay.
The 35-year-old made 58 appearances for Bangor between 2007-08 and 2012-13, featuring in 48 Cymru Premier games as well as being involved in European ties for the Citizens.
Williams came on as a late sub in the 2008-09 Welsh Cup final 2-0 victory against Aberystwyth Town and was an unused replacement for the 2009-10 final triumph over Port Talbot.
He also entered the field in the second half first leg of Bangor’s aggregate win over Finland’s FC Honka in the 2010-11 Europa League.
Will bring bags of top-level experience to Tier 3 Llangefni.

Michael Pritchard (Llanuwchllyn to FC Queens Park)

Much-travelled 34-year-old attacking midfielder who totted up 91 Cymru Premier appearances during spells at Prestatyn Town and Cefn Druids.
Played in 70 top-flight matches for Druids between 2016-17 and 2019-20, notching 14 goals, plus 21 in a Prestatyn shirt in 2014-15, striking four times.
Has also worn the colours of Rhyl, Llay Welfare, New Zealand club Melville, Gresford Athletic, Rhostyllen and last club Llanuwchllyn. Has also starred for Llay Welfare Vets.

Lewys Roberts (Gresford Athletic to Coedpoeth United)

Defender who spent last season with Gresford’s Development Team in the FAW National Development League North making 18 appearances.
This 18-year-old prospect previously played for Coedpoeth as a junior before taking in spells at Gresford and Flint Town United.

Shay Murphy (Cemaes Bay to Holyhead Hotspur Development)

Was a shining light as a youth at Caernarfon Town Development and Holyhead Hotspur Under-17s before stepping up to Hotspur’s senior squad at the start of 2023-24.
Scored 17 goals in 81 first team appearances for the Holy Islanders and bagged a few for the Development side before joining Cemaes Bay in February 2026.
Netted in his first three games for Tier 4 Cemaes, going on to make it nine goals in 12 games before the end of the season.
Now has decided on a return to Hotspur where Development manager Scott Hakesley aims to help him fulfill his tremendous potential.

Ben Hughes (Llay Welfare to Queens Park)

Experienced 27-year-old who was at Tier 3 Llay last season and before that was part of Ruthin Town’s squad in the Cymru North.
Now comes an opportunity to make an impact in Tier 3 with Queens Park of Wrexham.
