Menai Bridge Tigers sign former Bangor skipper

Menai Bridge Tigers have announced a major signing this evening.
Former CPD Dinas Bangor City 1876 skipper Tomos Clarke has made the short distance move to the Tier 4 North Wales Coast Premier Division club.
Clarke, who will be 30 in August, had been with the Citizens since the start of 2021-22, making 149 appearances in all competitions and netting 36 goals.
A commanding centre half, Clarke was a youth player at Oldham Athletic before going on to play for Colwyn Bay, Glantraeth, Porthmadog, Holyhead Hotspur and Conwy Borough prior to joining Bangor.
In his time with 1876, he won the North Wales Coast West Premier Cup in 2021-22, promotion to the Cymru North via an Ardal North play-off victory in 2022-23 and, this season, the Ardal North West title, FAW
Now comes a fresh challenge with the Tigers, who play their home matches at Treborth.
Menai Bridge manager Aaron Rowlands said: “Tom is an exceptional player and has long been one of the top centre-backs around. This is a massive coup for the club and a great addition to this exciting squad.
“Tom’s leadership, calmness on the ball and his aerial ability in both boxes are going to be a great benefit for us.”

Menai Bridge Tigers have also announced their retained list and departures ahead of 2026-27.
