Striker Signings: Prolific scorers Danny Warren and Callum Parry are on the move in 2026-27

Two of North Wales football’s most prolific goalscorers have made high-profile moves this week.
Danny Warren has returned to Mold Alexandra after two great seasons at Airbus UK Broughton, while Callum Parry has left Llanrwst United to join ambitious Tier 3 club Trearddur Bay United.
DANNY WARREN

After two trophy-packed seasons with Cymru Premier bound Airbus, the 31-year-old Warren has signed back for the club where he first made his name.
Warren initially spent seven seasons with Mold Alexandra, which saw him score 179 goals in 187 games, before deciding to move to the Wingmakers in June 2024.
In 2023-24, Warren was a key figure as Mold won the WBS League Cup northern and national finals under Mike Cunningham.
Former Everton Youth player Warren notched 34 goals in 37 appearances across all competitions for the Alyn Park club in that campaign.
His 150th goal for the club in his 157th match came in a 5-2 NEWFA Challenge Cup victory over Saltney Town on September 13, 2023.
Since joining Airbus, Warren has bagged 51 goals in 76 appearances, finishing Cymru North top-scorer in 2024-25 after netting 24 times in 27 games.
Under Mark Allen’s leadership, Warren won two WBS League Cup national finals, a WBS League Cup northern final, back-to-back NEWFA Challenge Cups and finished runner-up twice in the Cymru North.

CALLUM PARRY

Striker Parry has joined a Trearddur Bay club he believes matches his own lofty ambitions.
The Ynys Môn outfit aim to make a big impact in Tier 3 Ardal North West in 2026-27.
Having also signed Osian Hughes and Joe Todd from Bethesda Athletic, the capture of the 28-year-old Parry is further evidence that the Beach Boys plan to make big waves next season.
Parry lands at Trearddur from Llanrwst United, where he has had four spells and scored the majority of his goals.
The striker’s latest stint with the Rwsters began in October 2024. He went on to notch 48 goals in 58 matches before opting for a new challenge on Anglesey this summer.
Parry previously had three stays with Llanrwst, as well as spending time in Tier 2 at Colwyn Bay, Holyhead Hotspur and Porthmadog.
In 2019-20, he netted 30 goals in 20 appearances for the Rwsters before joining Colwyn Bay in the January 2020 window.
He was back at Gwydir Park for the 2021-22 campaign, when he banged in 27 goals in 28 appearances prior to switching to Porthmadog at the start of 2022.23.
Parry rejoined Llanrwst in January 2023 and had amassed 34 goals in 33 matches before deciding to sign up for CPD Y Rhyl 1879.
So Parry’s overall first team record for Llanrwst in all competitions is a remarkable 139 goals in 139 matches since 2019-20.
Parry made seven appearances for Colwyn Bay, scoring once, played in just four games for Hotspur at the start of 2021-22- he joined the previous season which was wiped out by the pandemic – and registered six goals in 19 outings for Porthmadog.
He joined Rhyl in January 2024 and notched 20 goals in 28 league and cup appearances for the Lilywhites.
Parry was top-scorer in Ardal North West in 2023-24 with 24 goals, splitting his total between Llanrwst and Rhyl.
His current career stats available to Grassroots North Wales are 169 goals in 199 matches, but data from the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons, believed to be both spent at Llanrwst, cannot be obtained at present.
