LOCK STOCK ARDAL NORTH WEST – FEBRUARY 28

Connah’s Quay Town 2 Llanrwst United 3

Top-scorer Callum Parry struck twice as Llanrwst edged a 3-2 victory at Connah’s Quay.
Parry boosted his tally for the season to 21, scoring on 31 and 65 minutes – the second a penalty – while Chris Nicolson also found the net for the Rwsters.

Seventeen-year-old goalkeeper Jenson Parry stepped up from the reserves to make his first team debut for Llanrwst and did a great job between the sticks.
Pascal Gomez and Harvey Drazdauskas (pen) replied for Quay, who led 2-1 at half time but have now lost six in a row.

Llay Miners Welfare 1 Bethesda Athletic 4

Thumping win for Bethesda away to a team lying fourth in Ardal North West.
Captain Osian Hughes was once more the hero for Pesda, netting a hat-trick which takes him up to 25 goals for the season. He is also leading marksman in the ANW with 20 league goals.
Hughes put away penalties on 20 and 62 minutes, as well as finding the net after 45+1. Corey Lundstram scored first for Pesda.
Joshua Phillips notched Llay’s consolation from the penalty spot.

Mynydd Isa 1 Prestatyn Town 2

Aaron Simpson headed home a 94th minute Kian Owen cross to snatch a last-gasp win for Prestatyn.
After a goalless first half at Argoed, sub Jake Walker nudged Town in front with his ninth goal of the campaign via a Harris Thomas ssist.
Kieran Jones levelled within a minute for Mynydd Isa, Steve Chiocchi the supplier.
It looked like it would end all-square until Simpson’s late decider.
Tomas Cardias-Williams produced a man of the match performance for Town at the back.

CPD Pwllheli 3 NFA 1

Great win for Pwllheli over the third-placed club.
A minute into added time at the end of the first half, man-in-form, Cian Pritchard, put Pwll into the lead from a Josua Jones assist. It was Pritchard’s eighth goal in seven games since he joined the club in December.
Oliver Hansen equalised for NFA after 71, but five minutes later Pritchard set up new signing Deio Williams to make it 2-1.
And three minutes from time, 17-year-old Hari Lambe made it five goals in six games when he benefited from another Josua Jones assist to seal the points.
