Nigel Guramatunhu (CPD Bellevue to Rhostyllen)

Having proved a very capable goalscorer in North East Wales League Division 3 this season, Zimbabwean Guramatunhu now gets a chance to shine in Division 1.
Nigel has scored 12 goals in 13 matches for Bellevue this season and Rhostyllen manager Simon Sedgwick believes the player can make an impact at the higher level.
“He is a player myself and Tom Morgan has had an eye on for a while,” said Sedgwick. “His record at Bellevue is excellent.
“He met his new team-mates yesterday at training, and we can see him fitting right in.”

Steffan Toplis (CPD Pwllheli to CPD Nefyn United)

Brilliant signing for a Nefyn side targeting promotion this season.
Toplis marked his debut for the Penwaig with a magnificent second-half hat-trick in a 4-0 win at Llanrug at the weekend.
Toplis had netted 70 first team goals over the past six seasons for a Pwllheli side he served so well as an attacking player.
His best return in a single season for Pwll was the 23 he scored in 2021-22, which included three four-goal hauls in less than a month.

BUCKLEY TOWN – SIGNINGS SPECIAL

Brad Barnes (Connah’s Quay Nomads to Buckley Town – loan)

Quality 20-year-old who lands at Buckley on a loan deal having spent the first four months of the season at fellow Cymru North side Denbigh Town, making 16 appearances.
Product of the Connah’s Quay Nomads youth system, where he has excelled for the under-18 sides, scoring 10 goals in 25 matches in the FAW National Academi North Development League in 2024-25. Also netted seven times in five outings in the FAW Reserve League North East that season.
Barnes debuted for Nomads’ first team as a substitute in 3-2 Nathaniel MG Cup victory over Caernarfon Town in September 2024.

Zac Jones (to Buckley Town)

Exciting 16-year-old winger who scored twice on his Buckley debut in a 7-0 win for the Reserves at CPD Y Rhyl 1879 Reserves on January 11.
Previously with the Wrexham AFC Academy and Buckley Town Boys.

Calum Proctor (Flint Mountain to Buckley Town)

Versatile player who was part of CPD Y Rhyl 1879’s Ardal North West title-winning squad last season.
Made 24 appearances for the Lilywhites before switching to Cymru North Flint Mountain, where he played in seven matches this season.

Marcos Yakou (to Buckley Town)

French midfielder who had spells as a youth with Celtic, Liverpool and Manchester City before moving on to Bury, AFC Fylde and Stockport County and then representing Swedish club Vänersborgs IF.
Talented 22-year-old who could emerge as quite a force in the Cymru North if he plays to his potential.

Seb Osment (Colwyn Bay to Buckley Town)

Goalkeeper formerly with Montgomery Town, Newtown and Aberystwyth Town before joining Colwyn Bay at the start of this season.
The 21-year-old made his first team debut for the Seagulls in a 5-0 Welsh Cup victory over Kinmel Bay, also making a handful of appearances for the under-21s.
Kept a clean sheet for Buckley Reserves in his first appearance in a 7-0 victory at CPD Y Rhyl 1879 Reserves.

Lewis Hodson (CPD Y Rhyl 1879 to Buckley Town)

Attacking player Hodson, 24, first made his mark for a Connah’s Quay Town outfit which finished runners-up in the 2022-23 campaign in the North East Wales League Premier Division.
The following season Hodson was key again in a Town side which ended up second once more, this time earning promotion to the Tier 3 Ardal North West, where the Deesiders again produced some great form..
Hodson made 75 league and cup appearances for Town over three seasons, scoring 12 goals, before joining Rhyl 1879 in November 2024 as one of manager Paul Moore’s first signings.
Played in 21 matches for the Lilywhites, who were crowned 2024-25 Ardal North West champions, and was involved in 12 Cymru North games for Rhyl this season, scoring twice.

Oli Blayney (Airbus UK Broughton to Buckley Town)

Talented 19-year-old front man who started this season at Buckley, scoring in wins over Holyhead Hotspur, Flint Mountain and Gresford Athletic before spending a month with Airbus UK Broughton Development.
Also played the latter part of last season at Airbus and before that developed through The New Saints’ academy, later playing regularly for their reserve and development teams, as well as notching up a couple of first team outings.
Now back with Buckley, where he is very highly rated.

Malik Alwi (Brickfield Rangers to Buckley Town)

Midfielder who made five substitute appearances for Brickfield Rangers in Cymru North this season before deciding on a move to Buckley.

Alex Moore (Wrexham AFC to Colwyn Bay – loan)

A first year professional at the SToK Cae Ras and was named the club’s 2024/25 Bob Clark Academy Player of the Season.
The midfielder travelled with Wrexham’s first team on their pre-season tour of Australia and New Zealand during the summer and came off the bench against Wellington Phoenix.

Osebi Abadaki (Caernarfon Town to Flint Town United)

Flint’s first signing of the January window was Osebi Abadaki, who joins from Caernarfon Town.
Abadaki joined the Canaries in the summer from Bala Town, but found his opportunities at the Oval limited due to the large squad assembled there.
He predominantly plays as a right winger but can switch flanks as and when required.
Started his career with Blackburn Rovers and has played for a host of English non-league clubs including Altrincham, Stalybridge Celtic, FC Halifax Town, Hednesford Town and Salford City. He moved to Bala for the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 seasons, appearing in 30 Welsh Premier League matches and scoring 4 goals in the latter campaign.

Max Purvis (Wrexham AFC to Flint Town United – loan)

Eighteen-year-old Purvis is a promising centre back who joins on loan from Wrexham for the remainder of the season.
Upon welcoming his latest arrival, Flint boss Lee Fowler had this to say: “I would like to thank Dan and Gus from Wrexham who have kindly been allowing Max to train with us for the last few weeks. That time has been invaluable for allowing us to get to know Max and vice versa, and he will be able to hit the ground running. Max has shown great quality and he has a tremendous attitude. He is a centre back who is extremely comfortable on the ball, and I’m sure he will fit in perfectly with our style of play.”

Logan Sumner (to Colwyn Bay Reserves)

Striker who is currently a member of the elite squad at the Steven Gerrard Academy.
Known for his pace up front and sharp eye for the ball, Logan played a key role in helping the team win the league last season. Logan’s talent was further recognized at an international tournament in Barcelona.
A versatile player, Logan has experience in several positions over nine seasons with Flint Town United Academy.
Last season, Logan made a senior debut as a substitute for Flint Town United’s first team in the Nathaniel MG Cup and was included in the first team squad 15 times. Logan also made a Cymru Premier debut as a substitute against Newtown on New Year’s Day, aged just 16.

Dylan Roberts (to Colwyn Bay Reserves)

Returns to the Seagulls where he played at under 10’s before featuring for the likes of Tranmere Rovers and The New Saints.
Made his senior debut for Flint Town United whilst playing at Under 16’s level.

Jac Grindlay (CPD Aberffraw to CPD Cefni)

Jac is a left footed player who can operate near enough anywhere, with plenty of energy and is technically very good.
Well-travelled 21-year-old who was previously with CPD Gaerwen, Gwalchmai, Llangefni Town Reserves, Glantraeth and Aberffraw, making 26 appearances.

Lewis Owen (CPD Aberffraw to CPD Cefni)

A tall, strong presence who plays mainly as a centre half, his brother Dion is already at Cefni.
Ex-Gaerwen, Gwalchmai, Llangefni Town Reserves, Glantraeth and Aberffraw, whom he joined at the start of this season and made six appearances for the current North Wales Coast West Division One leaders.
