When it comes to goal contributions among Tier 3 Ardal North West League players this season, a very familiar name leads the way.
At the midway point of the campaign, CPD Dinas Bangor City 1876 forward Jamie Reed is No 1 in the top 20 players based on effectiveness by minutes per goal/assist.
In all competitions, Reed has scored 14 goals and supplied four assists this term. He has been involved in a goal or assist every 52.28 minutes on average.
CPD Dinas Bangor City 1876 became the 25th club of the 38-year-old striker’s career at the start of the current season.
Reed, also a Wales semi-pro international, has netted more than 200 goals in a senior career which began at Wrexham in 2003.
He has played a major role in City’s 27-match unbeaten run this season which has put them into the quarter-finals of both the JD Welsh Cup and Dragon Signs FAW Amateur Trophy, as well as leading the Ardal North West table with a 15-game undefeated streak – the best league record in North Wales senior football so far.
Reed’s team-mate Corrig McGonigle, Tom Hilditch of Trearddur Bay and joint ANW top-scorer Osian Hughes of Bethesda Athletic also rate very highly in the effectivess table.
