Bangor City 1876 moved four points clear at the Ardal North West summit with a two-goal victory at Cae Bob Parry on Friday night.

In one of only two senior North Wales matches played on an icy evening, Michael Johnston’s side boosted their unbeaten run to 15 in the league and 27 in all competitions thanks to two second-half goals.

A hard-fought first half played in difficult conditions saw neither side able to find the net.

The deadlock was broken on the hour when Dylan Summers-Jones fired in his 12th goal of the season.

And the lead was doubled with 70 on the clock when Corrig McGonigle’s super strike brought him a 22nd goal of the campaign.
