PREMIER DIVISION

Llandudno Amateurs 5 Llanfairfechan Town 2

A fantastic second half performance ensured Amateurs picked up three points at home against very good and well-drilled opponents.
The hosts took a ninth minute lead with a superb effort from about 35 to 40 yards out from Lee Thomas.
From this moment onwards, Amateurs sat off and started giving the ball away cheaply.
Llanfair dominated the next 30 minutes and only some excellent point blank saves from home keeper Kyle King and brave blocks and last-ditch defending kept the visitors out.
Amateurs started to settle again and on 41 minutes a cracking cross from Ant Tidswell hard and low into the Llanfairfechan box was met by the run of Morgan Thomas, who flicked the ball into the bottom corner.
On the stroke of half time, Llanfairfechan pulled a goal back. Amateurs gave the ball away and Osian Roberts slid in Cyril Carey who made no mistake.
Half-time: 2-1.
Amateurs started the second half on the front foot, taking a 3-1 lead on 50 minutes.
Joe Jones drove forward from the right and found Conn Tierney on the edge of the area. Tierney danced his way through two challenges and drilled home right-footed.
Never giving in, Llanfairfechan reduced the deficit on 78 when Danny Hughes’ first time half volley found Lewis Mitchell, who applied the finish.
The visitors had a chance to make it 3-3 only to be denied by King
Llanfair had Curtis Murray red-carded on 85 before the Amateurs made it 4-2 three minutes later.
On a counter, Lee Thomas delivered a great cross into the box where fellow veteran Danny Hughes scored with a diving header.

Derby joy for second-place Junction who fought back from 3-1 down at Cae Ffwt to claim a thrilling 5-3 victory.

Second half strikes from Rob Gore and Hall clinched the spoils for Junction.

CPD Llansannan 3 Rhos United 2
Leaders Llansannan made it 10 without defeat after edging a close contest against improving Rhos.
