LOCK STOCK ARDAL NORTH WEST REPORTS AND LATEST TABLE – OCTOBER 11

Bethesda Athletic 3 CPD Y Felinheli 1

Revenge for Bethesda after their recent home defeat to Felinheli in the Ardal North League Cup.
Sion Bullock edged Pesda ahead in the sixth minute via a Cian Williams assist, but Cal Macdonald set up Gruff John for an equaliser on 22.
Osian Hughes made it 2-1 Athletic from the penalty spot on the half-hour.
A close fought game could have gone either way, but Bethesda sealed the points in the 88th minute when a Louie Turner assist enabled Joe Todd to make it 3-1.

Llay Welfare 2 Llangefni Town 0

Cavan Daley and Joshua Phillips supplied the first half goals which ensured Llay sent Llangefni crashing to their first league defeat of the campaign.
Daley scored as early as the second minute, Scott Swords with the assist, before Phillips netted from the penalty spot on 36.
No further goals in the second half and a great result for the Welly.

Porthmadog 1 CPD Llannefydd 0

Porthmadog made it seven straight wins and returned to the Ardal North West summit with a narrow victory over Llannefydd at Y Traeth.
Danny Brookwell scored the only goal of the match in the 50th minute which made sure Chris Jones’ side maintained their 100 percent record in 2025-26.
Port dominated the opening 20 minutes, creating three good chances one of which saw Brookwell strike the post.
Five minutes into the second half, Brookwell, making a welcome return after injury, got Port`s noses in front.
A huge clearance by Shaun Cavanagh evaded the Llan defenders allowing Brookwell a clear run on goal before prodding the ball past visiting custodian Dylan Jones. The ball was desperately booted out by a defender but the linesman confirmed it had crossed the line.
Only a fine late save from Josh Cooke denied Llannefydd an equaliser.

Pwllheli 4 St Asaph City 1

Pwllheli ended a run of four straight defeats with a well-deserved win over bottom club St Asaph.
Josua Jones nabbed the only goal of the first half after 37 minutes.
Sub James Williams equalised after 58 minutes, but Louis McFarlane restored the hosts lead on 78 before late strikes from Ashley Ainsworth and player-manager Carl Jones ensured a home victory.
Saints had Chris Bennett dismissed for a second yellow card with 80 on the clock.
