North Wales Coast Development: First ever win for Llanfairpwll, Hotspur go nap, Glannau hit six

Leaders Hotspur were comfortable winners over Gaerwen in Sunday’s island derby at the New Stadium.
Goals were shared between Jordan Rowlands, Luke Llewellyn, Sean Pritchard, Cameron Buckley and sub Kane Astles.
Hotspur Development manager Scott Hakesley runs us through the match.
“Today we welcomed Gaerwen Development to the New Stadium.
“On Tuesday in training, we put in a 2 and a half hour session working on our offensive build up play and retaining the ball and it was nice to see this on show in the first half. We felt fully in control, producing nice passages of play.
“As the first half came to a close we found ourselves 4-0 up with goals from Cameron Buckley, Luke Llewellyn, Jordan Rowlands and Sean Pritchard.

“Second half and getting minutes and utilising the whole squad we wanted to try 1-2 different formations and keep the ball moving. Credit to Gaerwen they never stopped chasing all game.
“With 5 minutes to go a well-worked team goal finished off by Kane Astles saw us round off the game as it started.
“A very good squad performance had by all. We now get to work on Tuesday as we look to learn and develop on more aspects of our game. Thank you to Gaerwen for coming, we now take the trip to Bontnewydd on Sunday the 12th
“Today’s MOTM went to young 17 year old Sean Pritchard, a constant threat, led the line superbly and took his goal nicely. As a squad we’re in a good place.”

Sebastian Samuel and Shaun Morris delivered the first half goals which clinched the points for Llandegai, Tommy Roberts and Iago Jones with the assists.
Bont had goalkeeper Morgan Healy red-carded in the 85th minute.

Seventeen-year-old Toby Hockin will go down in history as the player whose goal earned Llanfairpwll Development their first-ever win.
After six straight defeats, Llanfair broke their duck on Sunday at the expense of Pentraeth, captain Sion Williams providing the assist.
Nantlle Vale Development 5 Trearddur Bay Development 1
Harrison Gray put Trearddur Bay ahead in the sixth minute, but Nantlle soon turned the tables, Osian Davies and an N/A edging the hosts in front by half time.
Tomos Jones (2) and Cai Hughes added further home goals in the second period.

EAST DIVISION
Prestatyn Wanderers Development 0 Penmaenmawr Phoenix Development 1

Morgan Roberts scored the only goal of the game for Penmaenmawr on 66 minutes via a well-worked corner move.
Will Hughes had a superb game in goal for Wanderers and did not deserve to be on the losing side.
St Asaph Development 2 CPD Y Glannau Tim Datblygol 6

Despite being reduced to 10 men early in the second half with the score at 1-1, Y Glannau ran out emphatic 6-2 winners at Roe Plas Meadows.
Saints led 1-0 at the break courtesy of Macauley Lewis’ 25th minute strike, but the visitors levelled soon after the restart through Michael Norval before Richard Peskett was red-carded after 49 for the away team.
Lewis scored from the spot to make it 2-1 Saints, but then Y Glannau turned on the style, Dylan Williams equalising on 61 before sub Greg Parry, Jordan Davies-Jones, Rhys Thomas-Clarke and Andrew George put the short-distance travellers out of sight.
To complete their misery, St Asaph had sub Alfie McHale red-carded on 87.
CPD Blue Bridge Development 1 Glan Conwy Development 3
Three points for Glan Conwy thanks to goals from Charlie Martins, Jack Boyle and Oliver Carey (penalty).
Carey also missed a penalty for the visitors, Liam Miller having brought Blue Bridge level early in the second stanza.
Conwy Borough Swifts Development 1 Mochdre Sports Development 4
Second-place Mochdre moved level on points with leaders Penmaenmawr after a 4-1 away beating of neighbours Conwy.
Kaiden Gorry, Soloman Moore, Daniel Cunnah and sub Hamish Urquhart were all on target for the visitors, Joshua Lee responding.

Sports had Harvey Brewerton red-carded on 21 minutes and Henllan went on to win courtesy of goals from Owen Sidney after 40 and sub Sam Cotton with 84 gone.
