Here is manager Scott Hakesley’s account of the game:
“Today we travelled to Pentraeth and received a warm welcome – great club, hospitality afterwards and throughout was perfect so thank you from us all
“It took us a while to get going but then on 20 minutes Cameron Buckley was brought down on the edge of the box and he dispatched the free kick into the bottom left corner.
“This opened up our play as we relaxed and started to play our game. Nice work from Kane Astles set up Sean Pritchard for a well-taken goal.
“Before half time two Buckley corners were converted into goals by Jordan Rowlands.
“In first half stoppage time, a mix up in the box led to a penalty being awarded to Pentraeth which Cai Griffiths put away nicely.
“Half time 4-1 and a relaxed changing room. Second half we made five changes. On the hour, Zac Williams with his first touch calmly slotted home and then Melv McGinness found Dan Doyle, who from long range found the bottom corner. Final result 6-1. MOTM for Pentraeth went to keeper Elliott Parry-Jones who saved 2 penalties.
