Some recent transfers….

Kai Davies (NFA to Mochdre Sports)

Former club captain Kai Davies has rejoined Mochdre Sports.
Davies, 31, played for Tier 3 NFA last season, scoring on his debut in a 3-0 Welsh Cup win at Caergybi and netting six times in total and providing six assists over 36 appearances in all competitions.
He featured in two games for the Rhyl side in the current campaign before deciding to return to Tier 4 club Sports.
Davies said: “I’m really grateful to Niall and everyone at NFA for giving me the opportunity to play at a higher level, and out of my Mochdre comfort zone last season.
“I got everything I wanted out of last season, proving to myself that I could play at that standard, but I am excited for the new season, back home, where I belong.”

Gethin Thomas (Porthmadog to Llangefni Town)

Another strong signing for early Ardal North West leaders Llangefni, who look determined to build a squad capable of challenging for the title.
Midfielder Thomas unfortunately missed out on the whole of 2024-25 having suffered a bad injury in pre-season.
He had joined Porthmadog at the start of 2024 after spending two-and-a-half seasons with Bangor 1876.
Thomas had previous spells with Nantlle Vale and Porthmadog.

Kyle Cooper (Penmaenmawr Phoenix to CPD Dinas Bangor City 1876)

Versatile 20-year-old who has represented Llandudno and Denbigh Town in the Tier 2 JD Cymru North.
Had two spells with Penmaenmawr Phoenix last season, helping them win the treble of North Wales Coast East Premier Division title, Cookson Cup and NWCFA Intermediate Cup.
Joins former Phoenix team-mate Logan Williams at Tier 3 Ardal North West high-flyers Bangor.

Jack Smith (Llangefni Town to CPD Dinas Bangor City 1876)

Attacking midfielder aged 21 who developed through Llandudno Academy before breaking into Llangefni Town’s first team in 2021-22.
Made well over 100 appearances for Cefni, netting 18 times, before making the early switch this season to Bangor 1876, for whom he scored his first goal in this week’s 2-2 draw against CPD Llannefydd.
Impressed for Ynys Môn in 2025 Island Games, scoring a late 20-yard winner against the Western Isles.

Calum Proctor (CPD Y Rhyl 1879 to Flint Mountain)

Versatile player who made 24 appearances for Rhyl 1879 in their 2024-25 Ardal North West title-winning season.
Now joins Tier 2 JD Cymru North outfit Flint Mountain, one of a number of new signings made by the club over the summer.
Previous clubs include Frickley Athletic, Garstang and Chorley U21’s, while he also had a spell playing for Newcastle Jets in Australia when his family lived out there.
One of a talented football family, Calum’s brothers Dylan and Flynn play for Llandudno and Rhyl 1879 respectively, while sister Layla, formerly with Manchester United, now represents Plymouth Argyle.

Alex Williams (to Mochdre Sports)

Doombar is back!
Alex Williams, affectionately known as Doombar, has returned to Mochdre Sports after two seasons away from football.
After playing a couple of games for the development side, Williams returned to the first team squad for the last two matches and has impressed, coming off the bench and causing opposition defences all kinds of problems.

Hari Lambe (Caernarfon Town to Porthmadog)

Cracking signing for Port!
Young forward Hari Lambe, 17, arrives at Y Traeth from Caernarfon Town.
Last season he made two sub appearances for the Cabaries senior team. He was however mainly a part of the highly successful Caernarfon Town Development team which treached the final of the FAW Youth Cup before being beaten in that final by Haverfordwest County.
Lambe played a leading role in this success and netted in all rounds leading up to the final. In all. he scored 25 goals for the Caernarfon Development side last season.

George Clemence (to Llysfaen)

Talented 16-year-old full of promise makes the step up to senior football.
A Llysfaen FC spokesman said: “George is a great young upcoming footballer who has shown already he is capable of mixing it up in the senior format.
“George captained Llysfaen Juniors from the young age of 10 through U16s. He is a versatile player who will give you everything. his awareness for the game is unbelievable for such a young man. i can’t wait to see what he can offer to the team.”

George also played for the Glan Conwy Development side last season, but his main club throughout the junior ranks was Llysfaen.
