Colwyn Bay have signed a top quality Indian all-rounder from fellow ECB 1st XI Premier League club Bootle.

Born on October 20, 1991, Mumbai, Maharashtra, Trivdei is a left-handed batsman and right-arm medium pace bowler.

Having climbed off the bottom of the table last weekend, Bay will hope the new arrival will can further boost their quest to rise out of the Premier relegation zone.

Back home in India, Trivedi’s teams have included Puducherry, Mumbai Under-23s and the famous Rajasthan Royals.

He played his first List A game on 10 December 2015 in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and made his first-class debut on 17 December 2019 for Puducherry in the Ranji Trophy.

Manchester-based Trivedi played for Bootle against Colwyn Bay in a thrilling draw at Wadham Road as recently as June 28, scoring 60 and taking two wickets.

Last season was his first with the Liverpool club and saw him notch 572 league runs, including a UK career-best 137 versus Old Xaverians in the LDCC First Division.

This summer he has scored 289 runs for Bootle in the ECB Premier. He took a fantastic 62 league wickets for the Merseyside team last year and was on 25 victims for the current season before deciding to switch to Colwyn Bay.
