Who are the new faces at CPDM Bangor?

CPDM Bangor have announced four new signings ahead of the 2025-26 season.

The tier 2 Genero Adran North club have added Holly Owen-Roberts, Leah Jones, Joanna Bramwell and Ffion Thomas to their squad.

Holly Owen-Roberts (to CPDM Bangor)

An exciting new signing for Bangor is 16-year-old Holly Owen-Roberts.
Born in Bangor on March 7, 2009,, Holly moved to South Wales aged three, but has now returned north to live in the area of her birth.
Holly is a Wales Under-16 international who operates mainly in central midfield.
She represented the FAW Girls Academy South Under-14 and Under-17 sides before joining Genero Adran South club Cascade YC in January 2025.
Last season she made eight appearances for the Under-19 team and debuted for the full women’s side as a substitute in an Adran South game at Pure Swansea Women FC.
Holly made her international debut for Cymru Under-16s in a 4-3 defeat against Republic of Ireland in September 2024. Before that she was called up in 2023 for three matches against England, Greece and Norway.

Leah Jones (Amlwch Town to CPDM Bangor)

After four seasons with Amlwch Town, defender Leah has committed to Bangor for the 2025-26 season.
The 21-year-old represented Caernarfon Town Under-16 Girls in 2019-20 before making her debut for Amlwch in a 1-1 draw at CPD Y Rhyl 1879 on November 7, 2021.
A quick defender, comfortable with the ball at her feet, she went on the make 55 appearances for the Anglesey team.

Joanna Bramwell (to CPDM Bangor)

A versatile midfielder, equally comfortable across all areas in the centre of the pitch.
The 28-year-old arrives with a wealth of experience, having represented the Welsh Universities side, alongside Bangor University Women and Amlwch Town, where she made 49 appearances between 2021-22 and 2024-25.
Represented Ynys Môn in the 2023 Island Games.

Ffion Thomas (Llangefni Town to CPDM Bangor)

Wide player, aged 28, who has spent all of her senior career at Llangefni apart from a month’s spell at CPDM Y Felinheli last term.
She returned to Cefni in February and scored four times in eight games.
In all, she made 66 appearances for Town, netting 27 goals, including 17 in 21 matches in the North Wales League in a productive 2022-23.
