North Wales Coast East: Rhos are going up – but it’s sad news for some other teams
The line-ups for the North Wales Coast East League’s two divisions for 2025-26 have been confirmed this evening.
With their Betws-yn-Rhos ground inspection passed, last season’s Division One champions Rhos United are promoted to the Premier.
Coming down to the Premier from tier 3 are Conwy Borough. who have amalgamated with Llandudno Swifts to become Conwy Borough Swifts.
In Division One, new club Crozzy FC have been accepted. They will play at The Oval, Llandudno.
Llandyrnog United and Rhuddlan Town are relegated from the Premier and will compete in Division One in 2025-26.
Dunes FC, a proposed new name for CPD Gronant, who resigned from the North East Wales League last season and hoped to campaign in North Wales Coast East, have withdrawn their application, while Rhyl Albion have folded.
Bow FC, who were in the Premier Division last season, finishing third from bottom, have resigned from the league after three seasons in local football.
The Premier will operate with 13 teams and Division One, are left with nine members instead of the hoped for 12.
