Genero Adran Leagues award nominees for 2024/25 announced

Below are the contenders for the Adran Premier and Adran North awards.
ADRAN NORTH
Player of the Season
Kelsey Davies – Llandudno
Scored 24 goals in all competitions in her best season yet in front of goal. While Llandudno dropped to fourth in the league table after lifting the title in 2024, it was nonetheless another impressive season for Davies who shone for the Seasiders with 14 goals and six assists in Adran North matches.
Polly Wild-McGregor – Connah’s Quay Nomads
Polly Wild-McGregor was named Connah’s Quay Nomads captain at the start of the season and she has certainly led from the front. Scoring 21 goals from midfield, the Nomads skipper has made it a season to remember.
Harriet Davies – Llanfair United
With 14 goals in twelve games in the Genero Adran North, the striker was a big reason as to why the Powys side finished in second place.
Manager of the Season
Aaron Jones-Evans – CPDM Y Felinheli
Led Felinheli to a trophy for the third successive season as they lifted the NEWFA Challenge Cup on May 11. In Adran North, it has been yet another solid campaign for Felinheli under the stewardship of Jones-Evans. After a slow start to the season, the manager put together an impressive nine game unbeaten run to wrap up a third-place finish.
Jordan Parry – Connah’s Quay Nomads
Despite being defeated in the promotion play-off, Jordan Parry has still overseen a remarkable season for the Nomads. His side won all 14 of their league games, scoring 67 and conceding just six in the process. Some great pre-season signings played a key role in the team’s amazing success.
Lucie Gwilt – Llanfair United
Taking on a player-manager role this season, Lucie Gwilt led Llanfair United to a best-ever second place.
Young Player of the Season
Ella Jones – Connah’s Quay Nomads
Ella Jones made the switch from Llandudno to rivals Connah’s Quay Nomads early in the season and it’s a move that has certainly paid off. With 14 goals and ten assists in the league this season, Jones has once again proved why she’s one of the best in the division at just 20 years old.
Paris Schofield – Llanfair United
The 19-year-old recorded seven goals and five assists in her debut campaign in the second tier, making her one of the most complete midfielders in the league.
Polly Wild-McGregor – Connah’s Quay Nomads
It is easy to forget that Polly Wild-McGregor is still just 19 years old when you watch her play, but the Connah’s Quay Nomads skipper has led by example despite her tender years. In a team full of young talent, the midfielder has shone and claimed the Genero Adran North golden boot.
ADRAN PREMIER
Player of the Season
Abbie Iddenden – Wrexham
Joining from Stoke City at the start of the campaign, Abbie Iddenden has been one of the key reasons behind Wrexham’s push into the top four. With nine goals and nine assists to her name, also netting 17 in all competitions, the forward has proved she is one of the best all-round attackers in the top tier.
Shannon Evans – Cardiff City
Having rejoined Cardiff City at the start of the season, Shannon Evans was a key cog in the Bluebirds’ march towards a third successive Adran Premier title.
Tija Richardson – Briton Ferry Llansawel
The Briton Ferry taliswoman has been a constant presence in the heart of the midfield, and with her experience and guile, helped guide the side to a second-place finish.
Young Player of the Season
Lili Jones – Wrexham
It has been another successful campaign for last year’s Genero Adran Premier Young Player of the Season. Lili Jones finished joint third in assists this season with seven and also scored a memorable goal against TNS to help Wrexham into the top four.
Fiona Barry – Cardiff City
It has certainly been a debut season to remember at Cardiff City for Fiona Barry. The 18-year-old scored nine goals for the Adran Premier champions.
Lexi Jones – The New Saints
In a new look TNS team, Lexi Jones established herself as a key piece in the attack. Hit eight goals in her debut season – including the 83rd minute winner over Wrexham on the final day that secured third place.
