Brickfield made sure of a promotion place and are now one point from the league title following Saturday’s victory over Dolgellau.

Gareth Wilson’s side will be crowned Ardal North East champions if they draw or win their final league match at home to Radnor Valley this Saturday.

As is the case with all tier 3 sides, whether Rangers go up to the Cymru North or not depends on the outcome of their tier 2 licence application. News is expected soon.

Bricky are now level on points with leaders Bow Street – who have not applied for promotion – but behind the Ceredigion village side on goal difference.

Jay Richardson gave the hosts a 21st minute lead at Clywedog Park on Saturday, wth late second half goals from captain Kiran Russell and Dominic Doherty sealing the result.

Despite being top of the table regularly over the campaign, Dolgellau finish outside the promotion picture in fourth.

Meilir Williams bagged yet another hat-trick to reach 49 goals for the season as Llanuwchllyn clinched third place.

Depending on their tier 2 licence application, Sion Tudor’s men will now meet Holyhead Hotspur in a play-off for the right to compete in Cymru North in 2025-26.

Captain Ilan Hughes, Tomos Roberts, Dan Dascalu and sub Sam Evans were also on target for Llan on Saturday

Morgan Rowlands’ 89th minute decider clinched the win which ensured Trearddur Bay finish fourth in their debut season in Ardal North West.

It is a good achievement for the Beach Boys, who went undefeated in their last seven league games.

Had they not been so heavily weighed down by cup commitments, the Anglesey side could well have finished higher.

After a goalless first half at Maes Cynlas, Sean McCaffery put Bay in front after 57 minutes, Rowlands with the assist.

Corwen’s impressive marksman Sam Henry made it 1-1 with 81 gone, but Dewi Thomas set up Rowlands for the late winner.
