North Wales Coast East-West: Massive midweek coming up with most title contenders in action

It’s a huge midweek for the Tier 4 North Wales Coast Leagues.

On Tuesday night, West Premier Division leaders Bethesda Athletic travel to third-place Gwalchmai looking to avenge a recent 4-1 cup loss to the Anglesey side.

Second-place Nefyn United, meanwhile, test their long unbeaten run at home to Mynydd Llandegai.

In the East Premier, title-chasers Penmaenmawr Phoenix and Kinmel Bay are both in action on Wednesday evening.

Table-toppers and unbeaten Penmaenmawr have a tricky trip to Llandudno Junction, who have won five on the bounce, while Kinmel Bay welcome relegated Rhuddlan Town to Y Morfa.

Substitute Cameron Buckley’s late double pushed him up to 28 goals for the season and made sure Cemaes returned home with maximum points.
In the first half, Luke McGivern scored from the penalty spot to reach 25 league goals in 2024-25.
Ben Hoyland added a second for the Anglesey visitors just past the hour.

Captain Deegan John struck twice and Callum Jones was also on the mark in this Penrhyn triumph, Ben Hughes having netted first for Llannerchymedd, who had Josh Evans sent off for a second yellow on 50 minutes.

Tirion Griffiths (2) and Carwyn Williams grabbed the goals which banked an away win that keeps Cerrig’s distant title hopes alive.
Ryan Boyle responded for Glan, whose captain Mezz Knight and manager Nathan Watson were both shown two yellow cards late on.
