Goalden Girl standings: can Beth reach 50?

The prolific Beth Roberts

It appears fairly safe to say CPDM Henllan’s Beth Roberts cannot be caught at the 2024-25 Goalden Girl table summit.

The 16-year-old sensation added another two to her total in last Sunday’s 3-2 Betty Pickering Shield semi-final win over Denbigh Town to reach 46 goals for the campaign.

She is 20 goals ahead of her nearest challenger with matches running out.

Henllan have three games left – two in the league and a cup final – so Beth is well within sight of the 50-goal mark.

She could also pass Llangefni Town net-machine Jess Jones’ record tally of 52 set last season.
