CPDM Llanystumdwy prove ambition by applying for Tier 2 licence

Tier 3 teams CPDM Llanystumdwy, Llangefni Town, Airbus UK Broughton and Berriew have all applied for a licence which if secured would make them eligible to play in the second-tier Genero Adran North League next season

North Wales League West sides Llanystumdwy and Llangefni, as well as East division Airbus and Berriew are all on the list of applicants for a Tier 2 licence.

The current eight teams in Genero Adran North have all requested a renewal of their licence. They are: CPD Y Rhyl 1879, CPDM Bangor 1876, CPDM Y Felinheli, Connah’s Quay Nomads, Flint Town United, Llandudno, Llanfair United and NFA.

Connah’s Quay Nomads, currently unbeaten and leading the Adran North table, have also applied for a Tier 1 lcence.

If successful, and if they win the Adran North title, Nomads would go into a play-off final against the Adran South champions with the winners joining the top-flight Adran Premier.

Wrexham are the only current North Wales team in the Adran Premier, but Nomads have put themsrelves in contention to join them.
