The only remaining unbeaten team in Division One took a six-point lead at the summit as Rhos rattled up a magnificent seven against Sports.
Adam Williams (3), Chris King, Mike Chapman, Lewis Sealey and Scott Court shared the home goals, with Mike Jones (pen) and Harvey Brewerton replying.
A slow start saw Prestatyn looking the calmer side with good passing and moving and aiming to get the ball forward quickly.
Rhos proved why they have the tightest defence to date in the league as they dealt with everything the visitors came up with.
United started to get to grips and took the lead in the 23rd minute when Adam Williams with back to goal played a beautiful first time ball to Lewis Sealey, whose first-time cross from the right was converted by Mike Chapman.
This seemed to wake Rhos up and three minutes later it was 2-0.
Richard Hill picked the ball up deep inside his own half and aimed for Sealey. The ball looked like it was overhit and Sealey stopped his run, but Adam Williams was alert and pounced to beat the Prestatyn keeper in a 50-50 and find an empty net.
It was 3-0 after Sealey found Williams, who looped the ball over a standed keeper into the net.
In the 41st minute Rhos made it four when Williams and Sealey combined to set up Chris King to tap home.
Six minutes into the second half, Sealey’s throw released Williams, who seeking a hat-trick went it alone into the box and though the keeper managed to get e touch, it wasn’t enough as the ball rolled in.
Sports notched a deserved reply when Harvey Brewerton fired in from the edge of the box.
In the 75th minute Sealey made it 5 assists when he played the ball to super sub Court on the right.
Court forced a brilliant save from Danny Mills, who palmed onto the post, but the Rhos sub was there to make it 6-1 from the rebound.
Sealey was having a field day with assists and finally got his goal on the 81st minute when he slotted in after fine work from Court.
Prestatyn found themselves with a penalty in the 87th minute after Arron Querci put a mistimed challenge in. The penalty was converted to Hillier’s left by Mike Jones.
Jacob Guy was a hat-trick hero for a Swifts outfit which won handsomely over Henllan.
Guy, aged just 18, struck on 23, 43 and 87 minutes for the hosts, Jake Carey also on target with 69 gone. Harry Payne replying for the visitors.
Lee Fallas, Jake Reynolds and Dan Batey all struck twice in this emphatic success for Llysfaen.
Other home goals were scored by Joseph Roberts and Nihat Sutlubulak.
Chris Smyth scored the only goal on 74 minutes as Mochdre edged a narrow win at Bow.
The hosts finished up with nine men after Ian Griffiths was red-carded on 64 minutes and Barry Roche saw a second yellow.
Lewis Brownson made it eight goals for the season with a hat-trick for Glan Conwy in Saturday’s away victory.
Cyril Carey also struck for the visitors, Rhidian Williams and Lloyd Hubbard replying.
On a day of hat-trick stars, Dave Maddock bagged a vital one for Junction, the striker’s goals on 63, 84 and 86 minutes securing the Railwaymen a 4-3 verdict at the Recreation Ground which put them top of the table.
Nathan Williams was the other away scorer in the first half, Harry Parkes-Smith, Diego Warburton and Harry Croston responding for Llanfair in a thriller.
A first league win of the season for Rhuddlan was sealed through goals from Liam Bowers (2), Darius Woolridge (2) and Ryan Gordon, Shaun Edwards (2) and Oliver Clowes-Halliday on the mark for bottom side Llandyrnog.
Keiran Kendrick and sub Cory McHale booked safe passage through to the next round for Robert Cunnah’s Albion outfit.
