Matthew Worrall had the chance to double the lead from the penalty spot in the closing stages, but missed from 12 yards. Nonetheless, Welfare were able to hold on to clinch all three points.

While the Welly are still bottom of the table, that first W makes their situation look much better.

Mold Alexandra 2-0 Ruthin Town

Mold picked up their third consecutive league win and clean sheet with a 2-0 home victory against Ruthin.

Barry Owen’s side wasted no time at Alyn Park as Emmanuel Lawal opened the scoring with a tremendous free kick inside the first minute.

Summer signing Steven Sylla then bagged his first goal for the club to double the lead in the 25th minute and a goalless second half meant Mold were able to clinch all three points.

Penrhyncoch 0-1 Holywell Town

Second-place Holywell claimed their seventh consecutive win in all competitions as Danny Andrews’ late strike earned a narrow 1-0 victory away to Penrhyncoch.

The decisive moment arrived in the 80th minute as Jake Cooke’s cross into a crowded area was steered home from close range by Andrews.

In what was a good contest, with hosts Penrhyn continuing to look much improved, the home team had a great early chance when Owain Evans miss-kicked in front of an open goal.

Leigh Jenkins was outstanding between the sticks for the Roosters, producing a great 35th minute stop to foil Jake Cooke.

Town glovesman Kieron Feenan also made a couple of smart saves, one to thwart Dion Phillips.

Five minutes into the second half, Holywell earned a penalty for a foul on Beau Cornish.

Jamie Breese took it, but the normally impeccable spot-kick specialist was denied by a tremendous Jenkins save.

Holywell relentlessly pursued the opener, Jenkins brilliantly saving from Cornish before Danny Sullivan headed against the bar and the keeper kept out the follow-up.

Finally, that Andrews goal broke the deadlock with 10 left and Holywell could have sealed it in the dying stages, but Jake Roberts hurriedly shot over.

Bangor 1876 4 Flint Mountain 1

Two goals apiece from Corrig McGonigle and Sam Jones guided Bangor 1876 to victory after they had fallen behind at home to Flint Mountain.

In first half injury time, Flint opened the scoring. Carl Jones saved brilliantly from Joe Holt’s initial effort but Alfie Clark was on hand to turn in the rebound from close range.

Just as it looked like Bangor would be heading into the changing rooms a goal down at the interval, they drew level. Mason Blackwell-Jones played the ball across the six yard line, a visiting defender slipped when trying to clear and McGonigle netted from six yards out.

Three minutes into the second half, Bangor took the lead. James Barry’s cross from the right reached Sam Jones at the back post and the attacker scored with a powerful low shot.

On the hour mark, it was t 3-1. A free kick on the left by Joe Culshaw was initially headed clear but Sam Jones was on hand to fire the ball into the net from the edge of the box.

With 20 minutes left, McGonigle stepped up to take a free kick, curling in a precise shot from a tight angle to score with an almost identical effort to his second goal away to Colwyn Bay at the start of the season.

Buckley Town 3 Prestatyn Town 2

Heartbreak for Prestatyn as they lost a two-goal lead in the final 20 minutes and ended up conceding a late decider at Buckley.

After the hosts hit the woodwork twice in the first half, Buckley scored at Buckley! Prestatyn striker Oli Buckley got in behind the home defence and finished well.

Three minutes into the second half further joy for the Seasiders as Jacob Barratt made it 2-0 with a corker from the edge of the box.

From here, Bucks really piled on the pressure, but it was not until the 73rd minute that Liam Burgess finally opened their account.

Four minutes later, it was 2-2 when Liam Driscoll struck and Bradkley Knight bagged the winner on 83.

Anthony Jones was dismissed in added time for Prestatyn for a second yellow.

Denbigh Town 2 Colwyn Bay 4

Craig Lindfield’s double helped the Seagulls extend their unbeaten run to eight games with a 4-2 win at Denbigh Town.

Tommy Creamer and Dan Atkins were the other Bay scorers.

Bay were in front after only five minutes when Creamer netted from a rebound after Denbigh keeper Aaron Jones had made a brilliant save to keep out Lloyd Marsh-Hughes’ header.

With 580 in attendance, the Denbigh fans were lifted when their team equalised via Keelan Williams’ shot from the edge of the area.

However, five minutes later it was 2-1 Bay with a diving header into the bottom corner by Lindfield.

Just before half-time Lindfield added another from a corner.

Bay made it 4-1 on 75 minutes, Creamer’s back heel finding Ethan Roberts and his low cross was turned in by second half substitute Atkins.

Denbigh pullrf a goal back in added time through Sam Duffy.

Gresford Athletic 1 Guilsfield 0

Charley Edge’s 44th minute goal sealed a welcome second league win of the season for Gresford which lifted them out of the bottom three.

Llandudno 1 Airbus UK Broughton 2

Airbus made it eight straight league wins – but only just.

Jake Eyre’s winner in the NINTH minute of added time grabbed a hard-earned three points for the runaway leaders.

Llandudno struck first through Harvey Bennett in the 26th minute and remained 1-0 up at half time.

And the chances of a sensational upset at Go Goodwins Stadium looked increasingly likely until Ryan Edwards equalised with a strike from the edge of the box on 85 minutes.

Tudno would have been well worth a point, an outcome which could have ended Airbus’ 100 percent record, but Mark Allen’s side stole it with 99th minute decider from sub Eyre.
