Ardal Northern: Exciting times for Llangefni with new signings and flying high; Penycae hit form

Llangefni Town are home this Saturday

ARDAL NORTH WEST

Y Felinheli 0-3 Llangefni Town

A fine win for Llangefni gave them joint leadership of the tier 3 Ardal North West table.

Cefni joined table-toppers on goal difference Porthmadog and impressive newcomers Connah’s Quay Town with 13 points at the summit.

Taking on a Felinheli outfit who are always a tough proposition at home, Town took a 32nd minute lead through Josh Stanley-Williams, Jack Williams with the assist.

Aled Williams doubled the Anglesey side’s advantage on 62, then Stanley-Williams added his second and the visitors’ third after 68.

Llangefni have added some exciting new signings to their squad over the past week.

Goalkeeper Gethin Hughes has joined from Bethesda Athletic, a signing Cefni needed to make with Maddox Owen away at university and Huw Shaw on the recovery road with a long-term injury.

Cai Griffith, a defender with a handful of Cymru Premier appearances for Caernarfon Town, also lands at Cae Bob Parry, along with back-line player Sion Trefor Jones from Porthmadog and Aron Hughes-Jones, an attacking-midfielder formerly of Llandudno, Flint Town United and The New Saints, and latterly Holyhead Hotspur.

NFA FC 2-1 St Asaph City

Rhyl side NFA made it six wins out of six at their Ffordd Derwen fortress this season.

Cammron Morris and Archie Jones were the home scorers, James Williams replying for Saints in this local derby.

ARDAL NORTH EAST

Builth Wells 3-1 Rhos Aelwyd

Joshua Joyce, Aeron Powell and Adam Farmer all made the scoresheet in this win for Builth, who played the best part of an hour with 10 men after Daniel Hall’s first half red card.

Scott Reeves nabbed a consolation for Rhos.

Llanfair United 1-0 Llandrindod Wells

Jack Jones’ 14th minute goal was sufficient to earn three points for a Llanfair side who had Matthew Bumford sent off for a second yellow in the 91st.

Penycae 3-0 Llansantffraid

Josh Mazzarella (2) and Tomos Hughes were on target for Penycae in an impressive 3-0 home victory.
