With a month to go before the start of the 2024-25 Genero Adran North season, Connah’s Quay Nomads manager Jordan Parry is highly satisfied with how his squad is developing.

Parry has announced five new quality additions in recent weeks, with the possibility of two more recruits before the big kick-off.

Confirmed as having joined the Deesiders are:

Natasha Spearing

Young, athletic and technical MF who can play central or in wide areas.
Nineteen-year-old Scot who played for Northop Hall under-17s before joining Wrexham AFC Women in 2021-22.
She made 46 appearances for the club, featuring in 32 games for the Under-19s and 14 for the first team, usually as a substitute.
Natasha had a fine scoring record with the U-19s, netting 19 goals and playing in the 2023-24 Genero Adran North U19 Championship Final against Cardiff City.

Lily Clifton

Young defender who can play across the back line.
Previously a Wrexham Ladies player when the team was relaunched back in 2018-19. Has had experience with the Manchester City Development squad.

Nicole Samson

Young midfielder who can play in holding or attacking MF.
Nineteen-year-old who has played for The New Saints in the Adran Premier, having featured in almost 50 matches for the Park Hall club.

Charlie Bolland

Experienced goalkeeper and great shot-stopper returns to the club.
Played six times for Wrexham AFC Women’s first team last season.
Prior to that was Nomads’ regular stopper in 2021-22, making 21 appearances.

Keira Hardstaff

Talented central-defensive midfielder.
Aged 17, she was with Airbus UK Broughton last season and before that represented Wrexham AFC Women Under-19s, featuring in 20 matches and playing in the 2021/22 Genero Adran Under-19 play-off final against Cardiff City.
Currently at Everton College.

Jordan Parry

Manager Parry said: “I am delighted to get all of the signings completed for the 24/25 season.

“We’ve had them in for a while now and they have been exceptional in training and pre season games with a desire to win football matches.

“What’s been most pleasing is the integration into the retained squad, They’ve really all hit it off with the group, It was important to us this season that not only to sign good players but the right player with the right profile that can commit to 2 sessions a week and games and the overall project long term.”
