Connah’s Quay Nomads Women have signed midfielder Tillie Ashworth from Wrexham AFC Women for the 2026/27 season.
Ashworth is a highly-rated teenager, who joins up once again with manager Andy Griffiths following their success with Wrexham in the Genero Adran North U19 league last season.
The 17-year-old played for Conwy Borough Under-14s in the 2021-22 season, scoring 11 goals in 18 appearances.
In 2022-23, she moved up to Conwy Borough U15s, notching five goals in 13 outings.
She joined Penrhyn Bay U15s in 2023-24, netting seven times in 19 games.
At the start of the 2024-25 campaign, Tillie represented Llandudno Under-17s, scoring twice in three matches before Wrexham brought her on board.
Over two seasons, she scored four goals in 22 matches for Wrexham Under-19s, winning the Genero Adran Under-19s Premier Conference last term.
Tillie joins goalkeeper Faye Moseley, Non Williams and Seren Cashen as recent additions to the back-to-back Adran North champions squad.
