Nomads sign double title-winning keeper

Faye Moseley has joined the Nomads

Connah’s Quay Nomads Women have signed goalkeeper Faye Moseley from Wigan Athletic.

Moseley arrives at the club having won back-to-back Lancashire Women’s County League Championship and Premiership titles with Wigan. The Latics won every game over both seasons.

From departing a double championship-winning side, Moseley will join another in Connah’s Quay, who have won the Adran North title for the past two seasons, going unbeaten throughout.

Moseley will be a high-quality addition between the sticks this season and will compete for the number one jersey with Ruby Stevens, who has also committed to the Deesiders this term.

Nomads also recently signed highly-rated teenager Non Williams following her impressive spells with The New Saints and the FA Wales Girls Academy.

After scoring 11 goals in 14 games in all competitions last season, she is sure to add firepower to the Nomads attack.

Midfielder Seren Cashen, 20, has joined from Adran North Llandudno, where she made 20 appearances in all competitions last season, having previously represented Wrexham AFC Women U19s and The New Saints U19s.
