Who else but Jordan Parry for the Grassroots North Wales women’s team Manager of the Year for 2025?
Not only did he guide Connah’s Quay Nomads to the Tier 2 Adran North title in March with a statistically all-time best record for that league of 14 matches, 14 wins, they have a 100% success rate in league games across 2025 as well.
This year has seen Nomads register 13 wins and 5 losses in all competitions, each defeat either in cups or one-off games..
The only major disappointment for the Quay last season was losing the Adran Premier play-off final 3-2 to Pontypridd United, having led 2-0 at half time.
This meant the Deesiders missed out on a top-flight place, but with them well in command at the Adran North summit again this term, they are clearly on course to earn themselves a second bite at the cherry in April.
Parry is in his fifth season as Nomads women’s manager and has built a squad highly capable of going on to achieve bigger things.
He has lost key players in the close season three years running, yet each time has brought in quality replacements which has meant the team’s successful run continuing.
The fact Nomads women have only played 12 league games in 2025 is perhaps a poor reflection on female football in Wales, where divisions are so small.
However, that is not Nomads’ fault. They have dealt with the situation in front of them and done so superbly well.
Jordan Parry was, not surprisingly, named Adran North Manager of the Season for 2024-25 at the annual FAW awards, while captain Polly Wild-McGregor landed both the Player and Young Player awards.
Parry’s pearls will be hard to stop in 2026.
