Denbigh’s Harrison Jones completed a great weekend by top-scoring for Wales NC North a day after his club defeated champions St Asaph in the North Wales League Premier Division.
Opener Jones struck 78 as Wales posted a challenging 273-8 in their 50-over contest against Leeds Beckett University at Brymbo SSC on Sunday.
Jones hit eight fours and three sixes in his 99-ball effort,
Skipper William Ryan added 43 for the hosts, sharing a third-wicket stand of 99 with Jones.
