Flint Town United women celebrate a fantastic second season in style!

Meet the happiest crew around – Flint Town United

Zoe Stopford was a double award winner at the end of a highly successful debut season with Flint Town United.

She was named Players’ Player and won the Golden Boot for her 27 goals in the Silkwomen’s invincible title-winning North Wales Women’s League East Division campaign.

The 27-year-old’s goals tally was produced from just 17 league and cup matches and included three hat-tricks.

She finished as the third highest goalscorer in women’s senior football throughout the whole of North Wales.

Zoe received her award during Flint Town United women’s presentation night.

She scored and was Flint’s player of the match in the Silkwomen’s heroic North Wales League Play-Off Final defeat to Pwllheli.

Ever-smiling Rosie became the first Flint player to score four goals in a match in October 2023.

During the 2023-24 season, Rosie provided 21 goal assists!

They have secured a Tier 2 licence so it remains to be confirmed if they will compete in Genero Adran North next season.
