This is how to finish a season when you have been crowned invincible champions for a second successive time.

Trearddur Bay completed a phenomenal achievement of going back-to-back campaigns unbeaten when they thrashed Llanberis 5-0 at Lon Isallt on Friday evening.

The Beach Boys have therefore won their latest league title by a huge 16 POINTS!

With the North Wales Coast West Division One and Premier crowns added to their honours list, the club rebranded as Trearddur Bay FC at the start of 2022-23 have an overall league record of: played 54, won 49, drawn 5, lost 0.

They will start next season in Tier 3 just one no loss behind the believed all-time record holders FC Nomads of Connah’s Quay, who went 55 unbeaten between 2009-12.

Tonight’s win also brought a little bit of revenge for Bay, who lost 2-1 to Llanberis in a recent Cwpan Snowdonia Premier Division Cup semi-final.

In the goals yet again this evening was the sensational Asa Thomas, whose double put him on to 60 for the season.

That makes it consecutive Bob Brodie Trophy (top scorer on Anglesey) wins for the 33-year-old, who passed the 700 goals career mark this term and was overall North Wales leading marksman last season with 75.

Thomas broke the deadlock on 32 minutes when he profited from a Jay Gibbs assist.

Close to half time, midfield maestro Gibbs made the scoresheet himself.

Three minutes into the second period, the brilliantly consistent Matt Reynolds found the target for Bay with his 27th goal of the season, Dan McGinness providing the supply.

Gibbs then struck again on 57 with his 10th goal of the campaign.

The stage was set now for Thomas to bag his 60th goal of another amazing season and he did just that in the 69th minute, Casey Gregg with the assist.

Trearddur Bay’s invincible under-15s

With league titles won by the first team and under-15s – both as invincibles – and the league cup captured by the Development side, 2023-24 has been another unforgettable season for Trearddur Bay, one of many since they entered Saturday football in 2008.
